計画（する）s to harmonise 会社／団体 税金 率s around the world to stop companies switching their base of 操作／手術s to cheaper 裁判権s are to be discussed at this week's G20 首脳会議 in the US.

財政上の Mail understands that the idea of putting a 床に打ち倒す under company 課税 with a 最小限 率 globally has been talked about behind の近くにd doors in some G20 資本／首都s, 含むing London, for a number of months.

The once 高度に 議論の的になる notion is now 存在 touted as the only way to stop a 'race to the 底（に届く）' as some countries 削減（する） their 税金 率s in an 試みる／企てる to poach big companies.

Several major 会社／団体s, 含むing advertising 巨大（な） WPP, have moved away from Britain in search of cheaper, more stable 税金 率s どこかよそで.

While ありそうもない to appear on any formal 協議事項 at the G20 会合 in the US, the idea is 推定する／予想するd to be discussed 個人として by 政府 公式の／役人s from countries 含むing Britain.

'The UK has 伝統的に been 完全に against any such idea,' said a Whitehall source. 'But now it is 用意が出来ている to talk about it.'

First, the UK's 28 per cent 率 is not 特に 競争の激しい, 存在 the eighth highest in the 30-nation Organisation for 経済的な 協調 and 開発, the club of rich nations.

Second, any 試みる／企てる to make Britain more 競争の激しい by cutting the 率 would be expensive at a time when 政府 負債 is ballooning.

会社／団体 税金 raised £42.8bn in 2008-2009, 負かす／撃墜する from £46.4bn the previous year, and every penny off the 率 would cost £600m in the first year and £1bn in the second year.

The Whitehall source said: 'The G20 has 取り組むd 税金 港／避難所s during the past year and t here is a 見解（をとる） that sees this as another part of the same equation.'

The G20 has enormous clout because it accounts for 90% of world 経済的な 生産（高）. In the past, even 試みる／企てるs to harmonise the basis on which European Union members calculate 会社／団体 税金, let alone harmonise the actual 率, have 創立者d.

Gerard Lyons, 長，指導者 経済学者 of 基準 借り切る／憲章d Bank, said: 'It makes sense to talk about these 問題／発行するs, but you need to 演説（する）／住所 them in a 包括的な way.'
