宝くじ jackpot club gets 2,500th member

No wonder this group surrounding Myleene Klass are smiling ... they all became multi-millionaires after their 宝くじ numbers (機の)カム up.

They were の中で the biggest of the 勝利者s from the past 16 years who (機の)カム together yesterday to celebrate the 2,500th member of their club.

More than 150 joined the party whose winnings 範囲d from £1m to a staggering £56m.

They welcomed 77-year-old former dinner lady Annette Brown - who scooped £1,151,496 last Wednesday - to a シャンペン酒 歓迎会 at Kensington Palace.

The grandmother of seven, from Bo'ness in West Lothian, who until last week lived on her £114-a-week 年金, 設立する out she had won when she popped into her newsagent to check the numbers on Thursday morning.

'I knew from the shop assistant's 直面する I had won something and she just said "look at this". I was in so much shock, the assistant had to 運動 me home and even had to tell my daughter what happened. It was like a dream.'

A 未亡人 for 20 years since she lost her husband David to 癌 in 1990, Mrs Brown celebrated with her four children and said she will think carefully before spending anything.

'I think my husband is looking 負かす/撃墜する at me now and smiling,' she said. 'It still hasn't sunk in. I won't go mad and I definitely won't be moving. I've lived in my house for 38 years and I love the area.

'I'd like to go on holiday to Canada with the children to see my husband's family there, and we might even 飛行機で行く first class'. The 国家の 宝くじ has created 13 millionaires each month since it 開始する,打ち上げるd in 1994 and their total wealth is now £7bn.

勝利者s at the party 含むd 77-year-old former taxi driver George Sturt, from Dorking, Surrey, whose family 企業連合(する) won £26.1m in January. He 株 the EuroMillions prize with his children Gary, Colin and Teresa. Mr Sturt, whose wife Maureen had died from 癌 six months earlier, has been travelling the world and giving money to 地元の charities. He said: 'I still play the 宝くじ now, it's a tradition. I won £40 this week.'

Nigel Page, 44, and his wife Justine Laycock, 42, became Britain's biggest 宝くじ 勝利者s up to then in February, scooping £56m on EuroMillions. The couple, from Cirencester in Gloucestershire, moved into a £4m-mansion and gave their £400,000 home to their cleaner.

Marion Richardson, a 離婚d mother of five from Tyneside, was Britain's first EuroMillions 勝利者, scooping £16.7m in 2004.
