The UK's 経済的な woes have fuelled the growth of Poundland, as both cash-strapped shoppers and 井戸／弁護士席-heeled 取引 hunters flock to its 蓄える／店s.

The chain has taken over 60 former Woolworths 場所／位置s since January 2009, with landlords another group to change their 態度 toward the 予算 地階 brand, he said.

'At one time we were considered to be perhaps downmarket. But now landlords recognise that we're a major magnet for footfall.

'We're 定期的に approached by landlords now to see if we're 利益／興味d in a 場所／位置.'

He said the chain does not 推定する／予想する an 経済的な 回復 to 妨げる growth, and has 計画（する）s to 拡大する overseas once it has reached its 的 of 800 蓄える／店s in the UK.
