Let them eat 冷淡な pasties: Osborne feels the heat over 'コンビナート／複合体' pie 税金 that has 攻撃する，衝突する Greggs

The bizarre and コンビナート／複合体 詳細（に述べる） behind George Osborne’s ‘pie 税金’ was laid 明らかにする yesterday.

The （ドイツなどの）首相／（大学の）学長 is under growing 圧力 to 溝へはまらせる／不時着する his move to 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 付加価値税 on hot take-out food such as pasties and sausage rolls.

He was 軍隊d to 明らかにする／漏らす that under his 計画（する）s, a hot pasty that is 許すd to 冷静な／正味の before sale would not attract the 20 per cent 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金, while one which is sold hot would.

However, it’s not as simple as that.

Under the 支配するs 解放（する）d by the 財務省, a lukewarm pasty would not attract the 物品税 in warm 天候, because it would be the same 気温 as the shop.

But the same pasty could be 攻撃する，衝突する with a 付加価値税 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 in winter when it would be warmer than the ‘ambient’ 気温.

Mr Osborne even 設立する himself 存在 compared to Marie Antoinette after telling 顧客s to 効果的に eat 冷淡な pasties if they wish to d odge the 付加価値税.

He その上の raised hackles by admitting he has no recollection of eating a pasty from Greggs, the high street パン職人, which has seen £30million wiped off the value of its 株 since the 予算 last week.

Mr Osborne replied: ‘I can’t remember the last time I bought a pasty at Greggs.’ Mr Mann then asked: ‘If I buy a pasty from Greggs that is cooked hot but by the time it gets in the paper 捕らえる、獲得する and I take it away it’s 冷静な／正味の, would it be 付加価値税-able or not?’

Mr Mann later told the Mail: ‘George Osborne is the Marie Antoinette of Whitehall. With him it’s a 事例／患者 of let them eat 冷淡な pasties. That sums up George Osborne. He is out of touch with ordinary people and doesn’t even seem to realise it.

‘He has put 税金s on cheap lager, caravans and pasties ? all the things George Osborne doesn’t use himself. It’s almost as if the 予算 was a personal 税金 計画（する） for him and his friends.’

The （ドイツなどの）首相／（大学の）学長 defended 計画（する）s to 課す 付加価値税 on the pasties, from October 1, as a way of ending a three １０年間-old anomaly which means that パン職人s are 免除された from the 物品税 while 急速な／放蕩な food 出口s such as fish and 半導体素子 shops do 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 付加価値税.

He told the 委員会: ‘In 1984 議会 decided that hot takeaway food should have 付加価値税 on it. There was an 意向 to 確実にする that hot takeaway food was 付加価値税-able.

‘Since then under all 政府s there has been a lot of 合法的な 活動／戦闘 to try to get 一連の会議、交渉／完成する that and lots of 推論する／理由s have been given about why some hot 製品s are not designed to be hot.

'I’m 捜し出すing to stick with the 鮮明度／定義 that hot takeaway food has 付加価値税 on it. If you buy your pasty in a fish and 半導体素子 shop it almost certainly has 付加価値税 on it. If the pasty is heated up in a microwave it has 付加価値税 on it in a shop.’?

Mr Osborne 否定するd that the 政府 would ‘check on every 製品 sold ’. He said: ‘There are perfectly sensible ways of working this out.’
