While 株主s own a company, it's the (n)役員／(a)執行力のある team and board who 持つ／拘留する the day-to-day 力／強力にする. They decide what （株主への）配当s to 支払う／賃金, what 戦略 to follow and how to 形態／調整 the company's ethos.?

But for a 簡潔な／要約する window every year, 株主s are given the 道具s to 伸び（る） 支配（する）／統制する.?

Over the next few weeks, most UK-名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d companies will be 持つ／拘留するing their 年次の general 会合s and an 年次の 投票（する）. Here, every 株主 from the biggest 年金 基金 to the smallest individual 投資家 has a 権利 to have their 発言する／表明する heard.?

Anyone can stand up and ask a question of the board or the 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある. It's a 権利 井戸／弁護士席 価値（がある） using to help 形態／調整 the companies you are relying on to grow your long-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 wealth.?

It's never been easier...you can …に出席する from home

You no longer need to travel to …に出席する an AGM ? you can do it all from the 慰安 of your own home. Until last year, most were held in person, so 株主s who 手配中の，お尋ね者 to …に出席する would have to travel to where the company was based.?

However, when the pandemic 攻撃する，衝突する, companies were 軍隊d to move their AGMs online. Unsurprisingly, 出席 has risen 意味ありげに and most companies are considering a hybrid model for the 未来.?

Of course, it's more convenient …に出席するing an AGM remotely. But if you ever do get the chance, and once such 集会s are permitted again, nothing （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域s …に出席するing one in person.?

Your 投票（する） and 参加 could help 影響（力） (n)役員／(a)執行力のある 支払う／賃金, a company's 気候 change 政策, whether directors are reappointed and what 戦略 it follows.?

For example, the board of 広い地所 スパイ／執行官 Foxtons 約束d to review 未来 支払う／賃金 一括s に引き続いて a 株主 反乱 at the company's AGM last month.?

How do you find out about 投票（する）s and AGMs??

If you 持つ／拘留する 株 with a company 直接／まっすぐに, they should 接触する you with 詳細（に述べる）s about the AGM.?

If you 持つ／拘留する them through an online wealth 壇・綱領・公約 such as Hargreaves Lansdown, AJ Bell or Interactive 投資家, the 過程 can be more 複雑にするd. You will?need to tell them if you want to 投票（する） or …に出席する an AGM ? some 壇・綱領・公約s will not let you know you have the 権利 to 投票（する）.?

Another 選択 is to 調印する up for a new service called 投資家 会合，会う Company. This is a 壇・綱領・公約 that 目的（とする）s to give individual 投資家s the same 接近 to a company's board and (n)役員／(a)執行力のあるs as that enjoyed by institutional 投資家s such as 年金 基金s and 投資 経営者／支配人s.?

You can 調印する up for 解放する／自由な and tick which companies you would like to receive （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） on. In some 事例／患者s you will be able to watch 贈呈s and AGMs through the 壇・綱領・公約 in real time, or as a 記録，記録的な／記録するing later on.?

...and how do you keep up on the big 問題／発行するs??

The best way to keep on 最高の，を越す of the companies you are a 株主 in is to watch the news and read the newspapers. Look out for any 論争s?that the company may be 苦境に陥るd in.?

Large 投資家s have services they use to tell them what the big 問題／発行するs are ? these also 申し込む／申し出 推薦s on which way to 投票（する）.?

For ordinary 投資家s there is いっそう少なく 的d （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） 利用できる.?

Individual 株主 group?ShareSoc is 開始する，打ち上げるing a service for members that 申し込む／申し出s insights into the 重要な 問題／発行するs and 投票（する）s coming up.?

Could you 持つ／拘留する 株 just so you can 投票（する）??

In general, 株主s choose to 投資する in a company because they see its 可能性のある to grow their wealth and perhaps to 支払う／賃金 an income. But some 株主s 投資する in a company so they can 影響（力） its 戦略 ? even if they don't like the company in question.?

Follow This is an organisation that encourages people who want to help 取り組む 気候 change to buy just one 株 in 爆撃する and one in BP so they have the 権利 to 投票（する） on their 化石 燃料 削減 政策s.?

He decided to change them from within. 'Only 株主s can make oil companies change course,' he says. 'They won't do it on their own 率先. And the AGM is the moment when the board listens to its 株主s.'?

Why it's best to be in the room

I'm a member of Coventry Build ing Society and have long 手配中の，お尋ね者 to …に出席する its AGM. But although I love a day out, I've never ma naged to make time to spend a day midweek travelling to and from Coventry's Ricoh 円形競技場 where the event is 普通は held, 令状s Rachel Rickard Straus.?

This year, though, the AGM was online so I could …に出席する from home. Much more convenient ? although I 行方不明になるd out on the light refreshments that are 普通は 申し込む／申し出d at in-person events.?

But it was when members were given an 適切な時期 to ask questions that I realised why …に出席するing in person is still 必須の. I planned to ask a question about the 大規模な 支払う／賃金 cheque 手渡すd?over to 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある Steve Hughes last year. As The Mail on Sunday 報告（する）／憶測d last month, Hughes earned £702,000 for just over eight months' work, 含むing a six-人物／姿／数字 特別手当.?

We 手配中の，お尋ね者 to know how he and the remuneration 委員会 felt this was appropriate at a time when the pandemic has 原因（となる）d 経済的な hardship for many members ? and many more 直面する 激しく揺する-底（に届く） income from their deposits with the society.?

Were I there in person, I could have raised my 手渡す to ask a question ? and waved it animatedly if I thought I was 存在 ignored.?

But instead I had to 服従させる／提出する my question online and just wait to see if it was answered. It wasn't. In person, the (n)役員／(a)執行力のある team and board have to think on their feet when asked a question.?

The spontaneity is likely to lead to a いっそう少なく polished, more honest 返答. Online, they have time to （手先の）技術 an answer. In person, I could also have watched the 団体／死体 language of the team when they were asked difficult questions about low 利益／興味 率s. But online, it is harder to 計器.?

The end result was a more sanitised, controlled AGM in which the board and (n)役員／(a)執行力のあるs held all the 力／強力にする.?

I think it is imperative, therefore, that shareholde rs (members in the 事例／患者 of building societies) are always given an 適切な時期 to …に出席する an AGM.?
