Ian is selling his whole life ? home, car and even 職業 ? on eBay, 非難するing it all on his wife. But is it just a 策略 to make him a millionaire?

On pa per, at least, Ian 勧める's life sounds pretty の近くに to perfect.

The 44-year-old Briton, who emigrated to Perth in Western Australia six years ago, 述べるs it thus: "I live in a nice house in a beautiful area of a fantastic city, in one of the most amazing countries in the world. I have a car, a motorbike, a jet ski, spa and much more.

"I live a 広大な／多数の／重要な lifestyle; I go skydiving, snowboarding, 飛び込み, jet-skiing and 道具-搭乗. I have some 広大な／多数の／重要な friends. I have a good 職業 working with some wonderful people."

But 勧める is also surrounded by the agonising memories of a failed marriage. And, in a desperate 企て，努力，提案 to escape them, this week put his whole life up for sale week on internet auction 場所／位置 eBay for the starting price of one Australian dollar.

"My whole life is for sale. Whatever it is, it's all going up for sale in one big auction," he says. "Everything I have and everything I am."

And when 勧める says everything, he means everything. The sale 含むs his house and everything in it, his car, his motorbike, even his friends and his 職業 (in a rug 蓄える／店), 扶養家族 on a two-week 裁判，公判 period.

Moving on: Ian 勧める wants a fresh start after his wife left him so he is selling his life

Then there is all the 器具／備品 that goes 手渡す in 手渡す with Ian's outdoor, adventurous lifestyle: 道具-surfing gear, bodyboards, a mountain bike and a skydiving outfit.

The 一括, thought t o be 価値（がある） at least A$500,000 ? or £230,000 ? is a pretty attractive one for anyone open-minded enough to believe they can 購入（する） themselves a ready-made life and seamlessly 選ぶ it up where 勧める leaves off.

But in truth, the whirlwind of publicity that has 迎える／歓迎するd 勧める's 告示 is likely to be far more lucrative.

On the 高度に (a)手の込んだ／(v)詳述する website he has 始める，決める up in 準備完了 for the auction in nearly 100 days' time, 勧める gives tantalising 詳細（に述べる）s about his life story and the events 主要な up to the sale.

He has 明確に 苦しむd heartache, although he is mysterious about 正確に／まさに what went wrong with his marriage.

As he intriguingly explains on the website, which has already received thousands of 攻撃する，衝突するs: "I met and married the best girl in the world.

"I love her with all my heart and she loved me, too. However, after more than 12 years together and five years of fantastic married happiness, I was 攻撃する，衝突する with a bolt from the blue. I was blindsided at about 11pm on a Wednesday evening by a shocking and awful 発見."

To find out what happened, internet 使用者s will have to make a one-off 支払い（額） of A$2.95 ? about £1 ? to download four parts of 勧める's autobiography, which 含む／封じ込めるs graphic 詳細（に述べる）s of his 関係 with Laura.

によれば 勧める, who grew up in Barnard 城, in Yorkshire: "It tells the story of my life in the UK 事前の to moving to Australia, working on the beach as a jet ski 雇う 商売／仕事 owner, of how I met the girl I was to marry later, of the struggles we went through to be together, of how we 結局 （機の）カム to live in Australia and of what happened here to bring me to this point in my life, ready to get rid of everything that I am and was."

The first part is 解放する／自由な and the three その後の parts will be 解放（する）d in the middle of each month in the run up to the auction on June 22.

The 重要な question ? just what happened to his marriage ? will not be 明らかにする／漏らすd until the final part just days before bidding 開始するs at noon.

Those who 支払う／賃金 up may be a little disappointed. The "shocking and awful 発見" to which 勧める 言及するs is not as 劇の as he hints.

On that fateful night, によれば one friend, 勧める's wife Laura, 初めは from Baguley in Cheshire, 簡単に told him that she no longer loved him and 手配中の，お尋ね者 to move on with her life.

"Ian hadn't seen it coming at all," says the friend. "He thought they were blissfully happy and had no idea that Laura felt like that."

The tome begins unpromisingly: "As usual, I woke a couple of minutes before the alarm was 予定 to go off and rolled over to turn the 無線で通信する on. I looked up at the curtains and could see the sun was 向こうずねing."

にもかかわらず, 勧める's 計画（する） to sell his life could be far more ingenious than anyone has so far given him credit for.

Even if nobody ends up buying his life, by the time the auction comes around, he may have made himself a millionaire from downloads alone.

But, によれば friends, 勧める's 推論する／理由 for selling his life is 本物の.

"Laura was the girl of his dreams," says Bruce Jones, who once ran a jet ski 商売／仕事 in Scarborough with 勧める and was best man at his wedding to Laura Hancock.

"I was in touch with him when they 分裂（する） up and it was very much a 事例／患者 of him 説: '権利, what am I going to do now then?'

"He has always done 完全に crazy things with his life and I'm not surprised he's doing this."

Friend and 新聞記者／雑誌記者 Simon de Burton 追加するs: "He hates any sort of 従来の 存在. He can't 切り開く／タクシー／不正アクセス it. He keeps on doing weird things.

"He has always been like that. He's an incredible man and his life is pretty amazing."

Indeed, before deciding to sell his life, 勧める had worked variously as a dumper トラックで運ぶ driver at a remote gold 地雷, an outdoor 追跡s 指導者, a hamburger 先頭 owner, a rug 蓄える／店 経営者／支配人 and a 動きやすい phone salesman.

He is also 熱烈な about sky-飛び込み and film-making.

個人として educated at Barnard 城 School in the North-East of England, he left school at 18 and went to work on a kibbutz in イスラエル before 熟考する／考慮するing for a bachelor of education degree in Liverpool.

After he 卒業生（する）d, he worked at outdoor 追跡s centres and as a 青年 trainer for British Rail.

結局, he went into 共同 with his childhood friend Bruce Jones and the pair 始める，決める up Scarborough Jet Skiing.

It was while working there that the then 32-year-old 勧める met his 未来 wife, Laura Hancock, then a 17-year-old A-level student on holiday with a schoolfriend called Kate.

In his graphic and intimate online 調書をとる／予約する, 勧める 述べるs the moment he first laid 注目する，もくろむs on her at the beach: "She had light ginger hair tied in a short ponytail at the 支援する and a fringe that was just long enough that she had to keep 押し進めるing it out of her greyish-green 注目する，もくろむs.
