大臣s are likely to support a 需要・要求する by gay-権利s 選挙運動者s for a 的 of electing 39 率直に gay MPs - nearly four times the 現在の number.
The 的 is based on an 公式の／役人 見積（る） that six per cent of Britain is gay and is part of a 議会の shake-up by ありふれたs Leader Harriet Harman to make MPs 'more 代表者／国会議員'.
But it has produced a 猛烈な／残忍な （激しい）反発 led by devout カトリック教徒 Mr ツバメ, who says MPs' sex lives should stay 私的な.
He 拒否権d a 政府 企て，努力，提案 last week to 含む a 言及／関連 to gays in a 議会の 動議 on the '不平等' of groups in the ありふれたs like women, 民族の 少数，小数派s and the 無能にするd.
Mr ツバメ is said to have argued that the 提案 made no allowance for gay MPs who prefer to keep 静かな about their sexuality.
Ms Harman, 堅固に supported by her 副 Chris Bryant, one of 11 率直に gay MPs, said yesterday there was 'no 限界' to 提案s to be considered by a 来たるべき '（衆議院の）議長's 会議／協議会' on modernising 議会.

He said it was 必須の that the 39 were 率直に gay or lesbian.
'An MP who does not 公然と 認める 存在 gay cannot talk credibly about the experiences of gays, such as いじめ（る）ing or other forms of 差別,' he said.
He believes there is only a handful of gay MPs who have not 率直に 定評のある their 性の orientation.
He said the 的 of 39 could be 達成するd over a period of years by 対策 含むing '助言者ing' of aspiring gay MPs by 現在の gay MPs and training courses run by 議会 and all main 政党s to encourage more gays to enter politics.
Ms Harman told MPs last week that Stonewall would play a 決定的な part in the review and 勧めるd Mr ツバメ to 任命する 'at least one gay MP' to the パネル盤 in 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 of the （衆議院の）議長's 会議／協議会.

The Tories have two who are 率直に gay, 含むing Alan Duncan, and the 自由主義の 民主党員s and Plaid Cymru have one each.
But if 労働 loses the next 選挙, several of its gay MPs 直面する losing seats.
The Tories, encouraged by David Cameron, have selected a number of gays in winnable seats.
There are three 率直に gay peers, all New 労働, 含むing Lord Mandelson.
