He was 解雇(する)d for failing to tell his bosses one of its precious metal 貿易(する)s ended up losing the bank the 抱擁する sum as soon as the 貿易(する) went through.

His boss Tony Botting told a disciplinary 審理,公聴会 Asian people 'can いつかs be 気が進まない to agree to something that has gone on' because they don't want to 'lose 直面する'.

The 法廷 heard Mr Yang was 高度に experienced, with previous 職業s at the Bank of 中国 in Shanghai before he moved to the UK in 2006 and joined Credit Agricole in 2011.

He 報告(する)/憶測d 直接/まっすぐに to Mr Botting and was 伴う/関わるd in the '激しい 演習' of 貿易(する)ing, using seven and a half 審査するs to 絶えず 監視する the movements of the market.

The gold market was 激しく揺するd by the start of lockdowns because gold could no longer be 輸送(する)d to 貿易(する)ing 中心s and 精油所s were shut 負かす/撃墜する.

In March 2020, 関心s were 存在 raised about the volatility of the precious metals markets and 従業員s were 絶えず told to 報告(する)/憶測 any 問題/発行するs or 'high 危険' 出来事/事件s to 管理/経営.

The 法廷 heard that between March 23 and 27, 2020, the difference in gold prices which Mr Yang's team were 貿易(する)ing on, 増加するd to '前例のない levels', exposing the bank's 貿易(する)s to 高くする,増すd 危険.

Between March 23 and 25, Mr Yang worked from home, where his 接近 to the data needed to 査定する/(税金などを)課す the 明言する/公表する of the gold market was 減ずるd.

The 法廷 heard he also had 限られた/立憲的な 接近 to 危険 管理/経営 道具s and, in the 早期に 行う/開催する/段階s of the pandemic, the bank struggled with IT 問題/発行するs for people working from home.

But Mr Yang was aware of the exposed 危険 and believed the market would stabilise so did not 報告(する)/憶測 this to 管理/経営, it was said.

On March 30, Mr Yang 長,率いるd into the office where he was called into a 会合 with Mr Botting, where his precious metals 同僚 Louis McCauley raised the 問題/発行する of the 高くする,増すd 危険 and 可能性のある for large losses for the first time 公式に.

At the time, the 計算/見積り of 推定する/予想するd losses was somewhere in the 地域 of around £19million to £20million.

The 法廷 heard this was '大幅に more than the 月毎の loss 警報 限界 for the precious metals desk as a whole', which was about £2.5million.

The 法廷 heard Mr Yang's belief was that 'the panic was short-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語' and he believed 'things would settle 負かす/撃墜する'.

During the disciplinary 過程, Mr Botting was interviewed on 14 May 2020.

During the interview, Mr Botting said: 'I worked in Asia for 5.5 years, so I'm used to working with Asian people.

He did 譲歩する: 'Tony's comment on May 14, 2020, regarding Asian people is 残念な and wrong.?

If he were still with the Bank I would be recommending that he …に出席する appropriate training and coaching to 確実にする that that this 関心 was 演説(する)/住所d 適切な.'

However, the 雇用 法廷 設立する the comment was racial 差別. It 結論するd: 'Mr Botting's 発言/述べる 量d to 消極的な stereotyping.

'The 法廷 is 満足させるd that a white Caucasian 従業員 would not have been 支配するd to the same 消極的な stereotyping.'

The 法廷 also 支配するd the 解雇/(訴訟の)却下 was procedurally 不公平な, as 重要な 証言,証人/目撃するs were not interviewed and the disciplinary 過程 didn't consider the 成果/努力s Mr Yang and his team had gone to during the '前例のない circumstances of the pandemic' to minimise losses.

補償(金) will be decided at a 未来 審理,公聴会.
