He said: 'As a parent, I have 関心s about the 提案するd changes THS are making for September 2022. These have been made without any 協議 with the pupils or parents and are 簡単に 存在 課すd.

'While I 受託する an element of 支配するs and 政策s need to be made, I feel that as a school that encourages its pupils to be engaged and have a 発言する/表明する this seems to be a 完全にする 欠如(する) of 僕主主義 by not 許すing the 設立するd pupil 会議s to have input on school uniform changes, start/ finish times of school day, 削減 in lunch break etc.

'平等に what about consideration for parents who have to consider morning wake up, breakfast and 減少(する) off 決まりきった仕事s かもしれない 含むing siblings at other schools. Certainly those travelling 重要な distances on school buses will be most 影響する/感情d.

'The school day hasn't 現実に been lengthened as per 政府 指導/手引, but 単に an earlier start and finish time. I just feel these changes have not been thought through and the children 特に have not had an 適切な時期 for their 見解(をとる)s to be heard.'

The school has explained the 推論する/理由s why it has not 協議するd on the changes.

Mrs Crook told Devon Live:?'We never take 決定/判定勝ち(する)s like this lightly and go through a 詳細(に述べる)d 過程 over time ーするために come to the 権利 結論s for our students and the school; 決定/判定勝ち(する)s that 会合,会う our 合法的な 義務s, and the 基準s 推定する/予想するd in 第2位 education. This change to uniform 政策 has the 是認 of our 知事s, and balances the 需要・要求するs placed on us in 事柄s 含むing 基準s of education, parental cost, inclusivity and student health.

'By moving to 'trousers only' we have 特に 答える/応じるd to the '傾向' for girls in the school to 乱用 the 現在の 政策 and wear 認可するd skirts shorter than they should, i n and out of school. The wearing of skirts shorter than 膝 length, which is our 現在の 政策, has attracted many (民事の)告訴s from the public and from 訪問者s to the school.

'It has proven time 消費するing and 失望させるing for staff to 施行する in-school and is beyond our 支配(する)/統制する out of school. We wrote to parents in November about our 関心s and 期待s around skirts, and in January we held a 一連の 議会s with all year groups about skirts, advising them that unless the uniform 政策 was 適切に 観察するd we would move to an all trousers 政策.

'Our 現在の 政策 has 許すd girls to wear trousers, which many do already, and boys have been able to wear skirts if they want to. Trousers also standardise how our students dress, so that we and they can 焦点(を合わせる) on what we consider to be our 最初の/主要な 客観的な: learning.

'We have not 限られた/立憲的な availability of trousers to one brand, and have made suggestions that give parents 選択s around price and fit, and on the whole trousers should 証明する a cheaper 選択 than skirts. Our Year 10s are also working on a 事業/計画(する) to source その上の 選択s that 打ち勝つ personal 需要・要求するs for 着せる/賦与するing that's sustainably and 公正に/かなり sourced.

'It is in our 存在するing 政策 that shorts can be worn in the summer 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 and this will not change, and there is no change to our 政策 around sports skirts. We will consider and 答える/応じる to individual circumstances, as we have always done, where there is 医療の or other need.'

Regarding the school day タイミング change, Mrs Crook said: 'We are making the changes to the 時刻表/予定表 圧倒的に in the 利益/興味s of students' learning, 提携させるing our 申し込む/申し出 with the 最近の 政府 white paper. The changes are also a 肯定的な step in supporting the safety of students during the winter, and 供給するing 接近 to extra-curricular 適切な時期s.

'Changes su ch as this are not something we need to 協議する with parents on, but we have been mindful of the changes and how they may 影響する/感情 parents and have 協議するd with 地元の 輸送(する) providers. For parents who have 問題/発行するs around the new 時刻表/予定表 that 証明する difficult to 解決する, we will 供給する as much support as we can.'
