Topshop and Sir Philip Green's now 消滅した／死んだ parent company Arcadia have been 罰金d £1 million for health and safety 失敗s after a boy was killed when a 17-石／投石する 列 障壁 fell on him.

Kaden Reddick, 10, died at a 蓄える／店 in Reading while out shopping with his mother, sister and grandmother in February 2017.

Defending, Arcadia and Topshop/Topman, Simon Antrobus said: 'The companies went into 行政 in 2020, long before the 裁判，公判. There has been a movement from 行政 to liquidation.

'We are very much at the end 行う／開催する／段階s of both these 商売／仕事s. This 法廷，裁判所 needs to consider the 無（不）能 to 支払う／賃金 and the 影響 that will have. The 根底となる 原因（となる） of the 障壁 落ちるing was the type of fixings used.

'It was a 事例／患者 of choosing light fixings or heavyweight fixings - it should have been obvious to any competent shop-fitter that the screws were 不十分な. Nobody 推定する／予想するd or ーするつもりであるd for this to happen.'

When a company is （負債など）支払うd, its 資産s such as 所有物／資産／財産 and 在庫／株 are sold off to 支払う／賃金 off its 負債s and creditors.

The 行政官／管理者s 任命するd to 勝利，勝つd 負かす／撃墜する the companies will be 責任がある finding the 基金s to 支払う／賃金 the 罰金s from its remaining 資産s.

検察官，検事 James Ageros said: 'The 裁判，公判 was in relation to an 調査 に引き続いて the death of Kaden Reddick on February 13, 2017, while he was out with his mum, sister and grandmother in Topshop, in The Oracle, Reading, Berkshire.

'Your Honour will 解任する he was 10 years old at the date of his death. The circumstances of the death were that he was 攻撃する，衝突する by a 列 障壁 重さを計るing around 110kg.

'Kaden had been playing and when he put some 負わせる on the 障壁 it fell on 最高の，を越す of him as a result of 存在 貧しく fitted to the 床に打ち倒す. This was after a 障壁 of a 類似の type fell in Glasgow six days before.

'Arcadia were part-owners of Topshop/Topman and it was they who were 伴う／関わるd in the 影響 of the Glasgow 出来事/事件. Topshop was a 井戸／弁護士席-known retailer, owning 蓄える／店s across the country. Both are now in liquidation.

'Stoneforce is also in liquidation but was a construction company which 建設するd shop fittings の中で other activities. It fitted the three 列 障壁s in Reading and other 障壁s in different shops.

'While the 障壁 did not give out until February 13, 2017, as they were never adequately 任命する／導入するd, what is proper to infer is that the 障壁 could have given out at any time. Kaden was 事実上の／代理 as a boy of his age, in a way you would 推定する／予想する.

'My children's lives have needlessly been torn to pieces and nothing but Kaden can 直す／買収する，八百長をする it. I hate that I couldn't 保護する him. Shopping was meant to be something fun after the cinema so that Kaden could spend his pocket money.

'The world is a much sadder place without Kaden James Alexander Reddick in it.'

Defending Stoneforce, Dominic Kay said: 'It's rather an unedifying scene for Kaden's family to hear a company's submissions about money. This is 絶対 not a 状況／情勢 where a 商売／仕事 was '負傷させる-負かす／撃墜する' to 避ける 罰.

'Stoneforce received almost all of its money from Arcadia and its 子会社s - when Arcadia went into 行政 the work for Stoneforce

'For a child to die on an ordinary day in an ordinary shop must carry a particular 苦痛 and shock.

Arcadia was 罰金d £650,000 and Topshop/Topman was 手渡すd a £350,000 罰金.

The 裁判官 明言する／公表するd that, had the companies been operating, Arcadia would have been 罰金d more than £1.3 million, and Topshop/Topman would have been 罰金d £650,000.

Stoneforce was 罰金d a 名目上の £1,000 on the account that 'there is no money at all - no 量 will be paid'.

However, she 明言する／公表するd it would have been 罰金d £700,000.
