A 病理学者 who carried out the 地位,任命する-mortem of an 18-month-old boy killed by his step-father 設立する scars and bruises all over his 団体/死体 'while his mother did nothing', a 法廷,裁判所 heard today.

Tamika Beaton, 25, is (刑事)被告 of neglecting her son Andrew Cawker by leaving him in the care of Scott Coombe, 24, in the months 主要な up to his death.

The 裁判,公判 has 以前 heard that Andrew was vigorously shaken before hitting his 長,率いる on the 床に打ち倒す when he was thrown because Coombe had become 'irritated' while caring for him.

The toddler,?述べるd as 'warm and 甘い', 苦しむd a 長,率いる 傷害 on July 9, 2019 and died in hospital 13 days later, the Old Bailey has heard.?

It is (人命などを)奪う,主張するd that Andrew was 繰り返して 強襲,強姦d by Coombe but Beaton did nothing and 非難するd the boy's 生物学の father Ben Cawker instead.??

Although Coombe has 認める 殺人,大当り the toddler and child cruelty, Beaton continues to 否定する that she neglected him.

病理学者 Dr Nathaniel Cary 設立する no 証拠 of any congenital abnormality that 原因(となる)d the boy's death.?

His 地位,任命する-mortem 報告(する)/憶測 referred to a number of 'linear scars' on Andrew's lower boyd.

Dr Cary, a Home Office 病理学者 for 30 years told the 法廷,裁判所: 'This means something 公正に/かなり sharp has 原因(となる)d this 初めの 負傷させる which has then 傷をいやす/和解させるd up as a very 近づく 狭くする scar.'

Sally O'Neill, KC, 起訴するing, asked: 'On the inside of the 権利 lower thigh, you 述べる it as a curvy linear scar, what do you mean by that?'

Dr Cary replied: 'The curve is convex, so depending on what has 原因(となる)d it, it has been a cutting 活動/戦闘 of the 肌 in either direction, depending upon what 器具 was used.

'They are all very わずかな/ほっそりした and all of 類似の character, whatever 原因(となる)d this must've been 公正に/かなり sharp and 捨てるd over the 肌 to 原因(となる) the longest of the scars, scar number 5.'

'If we look to 10 July, on page 1, we have got two bruises, what do you say about those?' asked Ms O'Neill.

'They are small bruises from a small fingertip type 圧力, so a type of prodding,' said Dr Cary.

'Would you say the bruising or abrasion to the 最高の,を越す of the outer helix of the 権利 ear, is 一貫した with that?' said Ms O'Neill.

'It is 一貫した with fingertip 圧力 pinching or 衝撃, you can see there has been abrasion of the 肌, so fingernails, that type of 負傷させるing,' Dr Cary said.

'In a young baby or a young toddler, you don't 推定する/予想する any bruises apart form when they've been very active, bruises to the hips because they bang into things, bruises to the forehead because they're walking into things. Bruises to the 直面する or abdomen you would not 推定する/予想する unless there had been an 事故,' said Mr Cary

Ms O'Neill asked: 'If there had been an 事故, would you 推定する/予想する the parent of carer be able to explain how the 事故 would've been 原因(となる)d?'

'Yes,' replied Dr Cary.

Beaton had met Ben Cawker, in 2014 when she was 16 and he was 'delighted' when she fell 妊娠している three years later.

She moved into a studio flat in Peckham when Andrew was four months old but by then the 関係 with Mr Cawker was 'beginning to go wrong', the 法廷,裁判所 has heard.

By May 2018, she met Coombe at a fitness class.

Mr Cawker told the 法廷,裁判所 that Beaton kept him up to date with his son's health in the months before his death.

Asked if Beaton kept anything from him, Mr Cawker said: 'No, over our son 特に - about his dieting, any needs if he was ill - she would always 知らせる me with all things that were happening with him.'

Mr Cawker said he and Beaton 率直に discussed 示すs 設立する on Andrew's 直面する with a 調停者 in May 2019.

He told the 法廷,裁判所: 'After the 介入 things seemed a lot better, communication had 改善するd.

Mr Cawker 認める they did not 接触する social services before Andrew's dea th.

'The 示すs that worried me - the big ones - had gone. Small little 示すs in my 長,率いる was a typical toddler running around.'

Speaking of Andrew's death, he 追加するd: 'In my 長,率いる, to that day I thought things were better, and out of the blue my son passed, so it was a 抱擁する shock to me.'

Beaton, of Lindon Grove, Peckham, 否定するs child cruelty.

It is (人命などを)奪う,主張するd, between 7 January and 9 July 2019, she wilfully ill-扱う/治療するd or neglected Andrew in a manner likely to 原因(となる) him unnecessary 苦しむing or 原因(となる) 傷害 to his health.

It is also (人命などを)奪う,主張するd that she continually left her son in Coombe's care, therefore failing to 妨げる him from 存在 負傷させるd and failed to 通知する social services of Andrew's 傷害s.

Coombe, of Petts 支持を得ようと努めるd, Kent, has 認める 過失致死 and child cruelty.
