New direction: Sir Paul believes 選び出す／独身 officers would make the public feel safer

主要都市の Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson wants his officers to walk the （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域 on their own rather than in pairs.

Sir Paul said 選び出す／独身 patrols would make officers more approachable and 効果的に 二塁打 the number of patrols they can carry out.

It has been 基準 practice for the last 20 years for officers to walk with a partner.
