85% of families say they can't afford to save money
The number of families who have stopped saving in the credit crunch has risen 劇的な, new 人物/姿/数字s 明らかにする/漏らす.
More than four in five - 85 per cent - say they have nothing to put aside, compared to 50 per cent a year ago.

An 増加するing number of families said daily living costs were 妨げるing them from saving, with 75 per cent giving this as the 推論する/理由 for putting no money aside, compared to 67 per cent in 2008.
Two in five - 42 per cent - said their 負債s 妨げるd them from saving for a 雨の day, up 10 per cent from the year before.
Anne Young, 貯金 専門家 at Scottish 未亡人s, said: 'The rise in the number of people 説 they have no money to save is alarming.
'It has become more of a 優先 for people to 減ずる their 現在の 負債s and 簡単に get by on a day to day basis rather than saving for their 未来s.
'However, while 支払う/賃金ing off 負債s should still be a 優先, in 気候s like these, it is important to save even a small 量 now to get into a saving habit and build up some 資本/首都.'
Half of the 5,947 adults interviewed about their 貯金 habits said they would be encouraged to save if there was 税金 救済 on all their 貯金, with almost a third 説 high 税金 s were one factor for their 不本意.

Julian Urry, the retailer's managing director, said: 'There are a number of factors 主要な to our continued growth in 利益(をあげる)s, one of the main 存在 our greater presence and the 劇の change in 消費者 habits on the high street. The UK is now a nation of cash-wise 消費者s, searching for good value for money.'
