Going it alone... 5m Britons will holiday 単独の this year

More than five million Britons are 始める,決める to を回避する on holiday on their own this year, new 人物/姿/数字s show.

That was the 人物/姿/数字 for last year, with the number of 単独の travellers growing by five per cent over the past five years.

The 容積/容量 of 選び出す/独身 holidaymakers 増加するd from 4.9 million in 2004 to 5.1 million in 2008, market 分析家s Mintel say.

Mintel 上級の travel 分析家 Tom Rees said: 'Although the 大多数 of holidays are still taken within the 伝統的な family or couple 部隊s, as the frequency and variety of holidays have grown in 最近の years people have ますます had the means, 願望(する) and 適切な時期 to go on holidays catering to their individual tastes.
