A paranoid schizophrenic who 溺死するd an angler at a members-only fishing lake while 苦しむing a psychotic episode has been 拘留するd 無期限に/不明確に under the Mental Health 行為/法令/行動する.?

Kieran Hayes, 33, was caught by police running barefoot 近づく Oxspring Dam, a 私的な pond in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, on June 16 last year.

Divers had just pulled the 団体/死体 of father-of-three Kevin Hodkinson, 50, who once 代表するd 広大な/多数の/重要な Britain in an angling contest, out from the water.

Mr Hodkinson had been 報告(する)/憶測d 行方不明の after members noticed his 器具/備品 and car were abandoned.

Hayes was given an 不明確な/無期限の hospital order at Sheffield 栄冠を与える 法廷,裁判所 earlier this week.

The 法廷,裁判所 heard Hayes, who lived 近づく the 漁業, had been 診断するd with paranoid schizophrenia.

He began to hallucinate that Kevin was another person who he wrongly believed had 強襲,強姦d his mother, the 法廷,裁判所 was told.

At a 審理,公聴会 on Friday, the Recorder of Sheffield Jeremy Richardson KC said Hayes remained a 危険 to the public.

The 裁判官 said: 'This was an 完全に deli berate 行為/法令/行動する. But for the mental 条件 of the 被告 this would have been a (疑いを)晴らす 事例/患者 of 殺人.

'The 行為/行う of the 被告 量d to an 意向 to kill the 死んだ.

'There's no 疑問 that he was in a delusional 明言する/公表する as a result of paranoid schizophrenia.

'There can be no 疑問 どれでも that the 被告 will need life-long 治療.

'In my 裁判/判断, there is really only one just 結論 in this 事例/患者...that this 被告 should be 拘留するd in a mental 会・原則.

'This is wholly likely to be a life-long order. Indeed, at 現在の, I cannot 想像する the circumstances when this man will be 安全な to 解放(する) into the community.

'The public should be, therefore, 安心させるd that this 高度に dangerous man will be kept out of 害(を与える)'s way.'

Kevin, who had 代表するd 広大な/多数の/重要な Britain as a junior angler, was 述べるd by his heartbroken family as a 充てるd father, uncle and grandad.

'Those who knew him and were lucky enough to have him as a friend had the most loyal friend you can ever wish for.
