An Australian union has criticised Westpac for 存在 'callous' after it 削除するd more than 750 職業s in just seven weeks as 労働者s 直面する an 現在進行中の cost of living 危機.

The union said the move '明確に 論証するs Westpac is making a choice to prioritise 利益（をあげる）s over people'.

'These 削減（する）s are a 非難する in the 直面する to those who have worked so hard to get the bank to where it is today and shows a 露骨な／あからさまの 無視（する） for its staff, 顧客s and communities,' it said.

In May, 34 労働者s lost their 職業s across the IT, fin markets and 私的な wealth, 消費者 and 商売／仕事 banking departments across two days.

Then, just two weeks later in June, more 削減（する）s took place with five 支店s の近くにing, leaving 22 staff out of work.

It is understood 301 staff were 削除するd from the program 配達／演説／出産 changes, 消費者 and 商売／仕事 banking departments that same day, 同様に as seven other 従業員s from the 長，指導者 変形 Office.

In the same month, another 290 people were let g o across さまざまな other departments.

So far in July, 97 people are understood to have lost their 職業s at the big bank.

Westpac staff have been left shocked by the 削減（する）s, with even those still working for the bank 関心d about how the loss of so many 従業員s will 衝撃 their workload.

'I am part of a change team of 24 people, some who have been 衝撃d. I am "安全な" but there is no understanding of what work is 存在 left behind for us to 選ぶ up,' one 従業員 told the union.

Another said: 'Whoever is making these 決定／判定勝ち（する）s needs to work on the shop 床に打ち倒す and find the work 強調する／ストレスs and 負担s. Not a good look for the bank.'

One staff member said she had to put her personal life on 持つ／拘留する, 含むing 計画（する）s to have a child, upon finding out she had lost her position.

'We were planning to have another baby within the next year, which now [we] may have to put on 持つ／拘留する because if I have to start a new 役割 at another company, I won't be 適格の for par ental leave,' she said.

'I'm already 35 and so 延期するing a year can make a big difference, on 最高の，を越す of the fact that our 財政／金融s are becoming tighter 予定 to the cost of living and 利益／興味 率 増加するs.'

The FSU said it and Westpac staff would be fighting 支援する against the 'short-sighted' 職業 削減（する）s and had started a 嘆願（書） on its website.?

The union has also written to the NSW, ACT, Victorian and Tasmanian treasurers '輪郭（を描く）ing the 衝撃 these 職業 削減（する）s will have on service 配達／演説／出産 across the public 部門 and beyond'.?
