The scientist, who has 熟考する／考慮するd the 海洋 animals since 1996, said the 鯨s they have 監視するd appear to be playing with boats' rudders.

'It isn't 復讐 [against boats], it isn't 気候 change, it's just a game and that's it,' he told the BBC.

'I had the feeling they were training each other,' he 追加するd. 'There were two calves, and the adult would do it, then watch while the calf did it - like they were transmitting something.'

Commenting on the attacks, 吊りくさび Stagnetto, of the Gibraltar-based Nautilus Group said: 'They are big predators used to 追跡（する）ing 抱擁する マグロ, so they need to hone their 技術s to catch them,'

'They're not there to 追跡（する） people, so it's important to understand this.'

In the first known attack in British waters, a 72-year-old Dutch?ヨット操縦者 was sailing from Lerwick, a port in the North Sea 群島, to Bergen, Norway, when the orca rammed into the 厳しい of his boat.

Dr Wim Rutten, who had been fishing for mackerel at the time, said the orca was behind the boat, 'then he disappeared... but （機の）カム 支援する at 急速な／放蕩な 速度(を上げる）, twice or thrice... and circled a bit.'

The scientist told The 後見人 he thought the animal may have 手配中の，お尋ね者 to play, 'or look me in the 注目する，もくろむs. Or to get rid of the fishing line'.

The captain of the Bali 4.8, who has experienced orca attacks in the area before, said he noticed the 'unusual 動議 of the boat' before seeing a pod of four or five orcas 現れる.

And on June 5, Captain Iain Hamilton, 60, was left marooned in a harbour 近づく Gibraltar for a few days after his boat, the Butey of the Clyde, had both rudders taken off by a pod of five 鯨s.

He said the orcas 行う／開催する／段階d a 'choreographed' 強襲，強姦 on the boat, but he believes they were 'playing with the rudders, and just inadvertently （判決などを）下すing the boat very 攻撃を受けやすい and in a very dangerous 状況／情勢'.

The attacks are thought to have been 誘発するd by a '批判的な moment of agony' 苦しむd by a leader of a group of 殺し屋 鯨s known as White Gladis, かもしれない either 予定 to a 衝突／不一致 with a boat or entanglement with a fishing line, scientists say.?

The 外傷／ショック Gladis experienced could have 原因（となる）d the 鯨 to become more 積極的な, before her behaviour began to be mimicked by other 鯨s, 海洋 biologist Alfredo Lopez Fernandez has said.?

'That traumatised orca is the one that started this behaviour of physical 接触する with the boat,' Mr Fernandez told livescience.com.

'We do not 解釈する／通訳する that the orcas are teaching the young, although the behaviour has spread to the young vertically, 簡単に by imitation, and later horizontally の中で them, because they consider it something important in their lives,' he 追加するd.?
