  • EXCLUSIVE:??As many as 300 could be homed in the newbuild 高級な flats

Hundreds of 亡命 探検者s are 始める,決める to move into a 高級な 封鎖する of flats in a posh riverside town under 議論の的になる 計画(する)s by the Home Office.

As many as 300 could be homed in 排除的 Syward Place in Chertsey, Surrey, where a one-bedroom flat costs almost £300,000.

The 静かな town, on the River Thames and nestled 以前は in London’s Stockbroker Belt, has a 全住民 of just 15000 and 居住(者)s 恐れる the arrival of so many 移民,移住(する)s in one place will 燃料 緊張 and 証明する a drain on already creaking 地元の services.

The Home Office has (ーのために)とっておくd Syward Place ? which is still under construction and 予定 for 完成 in January ? as a possible 場所/位置 for ‘dispersal accommodation.’

It means that the 開発, a former office 封鎖する in Chertsey town centre and next to the 鉄道 駅/配置する, would be where 亡命 探検者s are housed - at cost to the UK taxpayer - while they を待つ their (人命などを)奪う,主張するs to be 過程d, which in some 事例/患者s can take years.

Musician Jenny Brown, 55, who lives の近くに to the 封鎖する, believes it’s 不公平な and told MailOnline: ‘When you have so many youngsters struggling to get on the 住宅 ladder, is it 権利 to give people who have only just arrived in this country such an 排除的 所有物/資産/財産?

‘This 開発 is way out of the price bracket for most people 老年の in their twenties, many of whom are having difficulties 現実に getting a mortgage.

‘Then you have people who have 与える/捧げるd に向かって society all their life 落ちるing on hard times and they often become overlooked and given 絶対 no support.

‘It seems that the 利益s system is ひどく skewered に向かって those who 港/避難所’t 与える/捧げるd at all and I think this 開発 and its 可能性のある use as accommodation for 亡命 探検者s is a symbol of that

‘The flats are おもに one bedroom and so I think will probably 結局最後にはーなる in the main 存在 given to 選び出す/独身 men.

‘I think that throws up 付加 関心s on whether they would 統合する with the 地元の 全住民 or remain very separate.

‘住宅 so many 亡命 探検者s in one building may lead to them 存在 やめる 孤立するd from the 残り/休憩(する) of the town, it’s as if the 政府 is packing them all up and hiding them away.

‘People complain that there’s already a 緊張する on 地元の 資源s, that it’s difficult getting a doctor’s 任命, that schools are over-subscribed and this is only going to make 事柄s much worse.’

The 計画(する)s have 原因(となる)d serious 関心 の中で the 地元の MP and 会議 leader.

Ben Spencer, 保守的な MP for Runnymede and Weybridge, said: ‘亡命 探検者s need 質 accommodation and support, and this 含むs 統合,差別撤廃 into communities.

‘This 提案 is not that, and I will fight against any 提案 which is 不公平な to our 地元の community or the 亡命 探検者s that need to be housed.’

Tom Gracey, leader of Runnymede Borough 会議, said: ‘計画(する)s to place 300 people in one 場所 will place an unmanageable 重荷(を負わせる) on 地元の services and our ability to 供給する the support these families may need.

‘The 場所/位置 示唆するd was also ーするつもりであるd to 供給する affordable 住宅 for 地元の 居住(者)s. It cannot be that 計画(する)s to support 亡命 探検者s mean 地元の 居住(者)s 行方不明になる out.’

Joseph Williams, 32, contrasted the 計画(する)s for 亡命 探検者s and a friend of his who has lived and worked in Chertsey all his life but recently been made homeless.

He said: ‘A friend of 地雷 recently 分裂(する) with his partner and as the 所有物/資産/財産 they rented was in her 指名する he had to leave and is trying to get on the 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) for a 会議 house.

‘But he’s had to jump through a lot of hoops, he’s having to pull together 12-months of bank 声明s and proof that he’s always lived in the town.

‘The 見込み is that it’s going to take him months ? perhaps many months ? to get himself sorted with a home and so in the 合間 he’s going to have to find a 宿泊所 short-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語.

‘That 宿泊所 will be like nothing like the flats the 政府 wants to house the 亡命 探検者s in. It isn’t 権利, it isn’t fair.’

Steve Pearman, 40, agreed and said: ‘I know that 亡命 探検者s have to be homed somewhere and they have to have somewhere comfortable but how many 軍の 退役軍人s do we have who are homeless? How many young people can afford to live in a 封鎖する like this?

‘It seems to me that we are ignoring people who have worked hard ? in some 事例/患者s 現実に fought for the country ? in favour of people who have come into Britain very recently and of which we know very little about.’

The 計画(する)s have also proven to be a hot topic of conversation on 地元の Facebook groups, with other 居住(者)s 株ing 類似の stories.

‘So the 会議 will house them but not him. This country has 完全に gone 負かす/撃墜する the pan. It’s disgraceful that he should be 軍隊d into 私的な renting and not the 会議 登録(する) when he would 支払う/賃金 his rent and not (人命などを)奪う,主張する any 利益s. It’s a joke.’

The Home Office say the number of people arriving in the UK who 要求する accommodation has reached 記録,記録的な/記録する levels and so has put the 亡命 system under incredible 緊張する.
