刑務所，拘置所d for life: 'Sadist' who 殺人d 15-month-old toddler because her crying interrupted him playing on his X-Box

Sadistic Gary Alcock was 刑務所，拘置所d for life today for the 'horri fic' 殺人 of a 15-month-old girl whose crying interrupted him playing on his X-Box.

Violet Mullen was punched, slapped and pinched by Alcock in the three weeks 主要な up to her death before he 配達するd a 致命的な blow to the stomach which tore her 内部の 組織／臓器s.

Alcock, 28, must serve a 最小限 of 21 years. A 陪審／陪審員団 had （疑いを）晴らすd his ex-partner, Claire Flanagan, 22 - the child's mother - of 殺人.

裁判官 Goldstone said she knew for weeks that her boyfriend was 傷つけるing Violet but did nothing to 保護する her.

He told her: 'You could have sought 医療の help, you could have 伴う／関わるd social services, you could have asked him (Alcock) to leave, but any of those 選択s would have put at 危険 your 関係 which you, at the time, 定価つきの far more 高度に than your 関係 and love for Violet.

'You blatantly ignored the 重要な 危険 of more 暴力／激しさ to Violet that was 星／主役にするing you in the 直面する.

'As a mother you failed her miserably. That is something you will have to live with the for the 残り／休憩（する） of your life'.

裁判官 Goldstone said: 'We will never know how much she (Violet) 苦しむd.'

The 法廷，裁判所 was told that? an 救急車 was called to Flanagan's home in Huddersfield Road, Oldham on January 12 after Alcock told 緊急 services the child seemed 'spaced out' and her lips were blue and 冷淡な.

Paramedics 設立する the child? was not breathing and covered in bruises. They tried to 生き返らせる her in the 救急車 but she died 45 minutes after arrival at 王室の Oldham Hospital
