Artem Kariakin was only 16 when he started working for the 抵抗 in the eastern city of Kadiivka, 侵略（する）／超過（する） by the ロシアのs in the spring of 2014.
In a small city that's home to plenty of プロの／賛成の-ロシアのs (from before and after the 侵略), Artem could 信用 no one. So he operated alone, 危険ing his life to 秘かに調査する for the Ukrainian army and 知能 services, using secret social マスコミ accounts to 供給する 詳細（に述べる）s of enemy 軍隊／機動隊 movements and 武器 倉庫・駅s.
As 早期に as January 2015 he saved the lives of his friends in Ukrainian-controlled Debaltseve by tipping them off about an 切迫した attack and giving them time to 避難所 before the sky began to rain ロシアの ロケット／急騰するs.

After seven years of 抵抗, and に引き続いて the death of his parents within a year of each other, Artem left in December 2021.
'There was a danger I would have been 新採用するd into the ロシアの army, so it was time to leave,' he said.

'My greatest 願望（する） is to 解放する my home city from Russia,' says the 兵士, who has been decorated three times for bravery.
'This is not a dream ? it is my goal and this will happen. I want 復讐 against all those who betrayed ウクライナ共和国 and those who have stolen a big part of my life.'
