GM 失敗汚染するs Britain with mutant 刈るs

Large areas of the British countryside have been 汚染するd by 違法な 'Frankenstein' 刈るs, it 現れるd yesterday.

They have been created in a 悲惨な失敗伴う／関わるing 公式の／役人裁判，公判s of genetically-修正するd 工場／植物s.

GM oilseed 強姦工場／植物d at 21 裁判，公判場所／位置s over the past four years has been 汚染するd with a variety not licensed in the UK.

Although 政府専門家s （人命などを）奪う，主張する that the 発見 has no 関わりあい／含蓄s for human health or the 環境, the 開発s are a 大打撃を与える-blow to its 試みる／企てるs to 証明する that these 工場／植物s and foods are 安全な.

It has been 確認するd that pollen from the 違法な工場／植物s has '汚染するd' large areas of countryside between Dorset and Aberdeenshire.

農業大臣 Elliot Morley 警告するd yesterday that the company 責任がある the 刈る裁判，公判 mistake, Aventis CropScience, 直面するs 起訴.

But 視察官s from his Department for 環境, Food and 田舎の事件／事情／状勢s, who are supposed to police the 裁判，公判s - which were 始める，決める up in 1999 - are also at fault.

The 環境の group said 研究 in 1999 設立する pollen from 汚染するd fields of GM oilseed 強姦 in shop-bought honey and in beehives 近づく a 裁判，公判場所／位置.

The 違法な variety of oilseed 強姦設立する in British fields 含むs 遺伝子s from the 抗生物質s kanamycin and neomycin, which are used in human 薬／医学.

Biotech companies 挿入するd these 遺伝子s into the first 世代 of GM 工場／植物s as a 'marker' to 確認する that the 願望（する）d 変形 had occurred. The 変形 gave the 工場／植物s 抵抗 to a particular weedkiller, which meant they could be 浴びせる／消すd with the 化学製品 without 存在損失d.

However, 研究室／実験室熟考する／考慮するs on the 追加するd 遺伝子s - which are 設立する自然に in the 環境 - have shown that they can be transferred to bacteria in 国／地域. There is also a danger that they might produce 抵抗 in humans to the 有益な影響s of the important 医療の抗生物質 gentamycin.

However, this perceived 脅し is strenuously 否定するd by the biotech 産業 and all the 工場／植物s from the 刈る裁判，公判s are routinely destroyed.

強姦 seed oil, known as Canola, is used in a wide variety of 過程d foods, includingbiscuits and cooking oil. Kevin Dunion, 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある of Friends of the Earth Scotland, said: 'It is incredible that a 科学の裁判，公判, supposed to 納得させる us that GM 刈るs are 安全な to use, can be so 不正に managed.'

The 失敗 was discovered by Aventis earlier this year during a small-規模裁判，公判 in Aberdeenshire. It then 設立する seed from the same （製品，工事材料の）一回分 had been used on the other farms.
