Elvis-mad couple tie the knot

An Elvis-mad couple today 公約するd to love each other tender as they got married in a bizarre 儀式 in 尊敬の印 to the king of 激しく揺する'n'roll.

Dani Leighton and Juliette Massey tied the knot at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on the 25th 周年記念日 of Presley's death after they won a 競争 called Elvis Wedding of the Century.

The couple, of Prestwich, Greater Manchester, had Elvis impersonators as the best men and bridesmaids 含むd lookalikes of Priscilla Presley and Marilyn Monroe.

Elvis music 迎える/歓迎するd the bride as she walked に向かって the groom.

The 儀式 was 成し遂げるd by Emerald Elvis 示す Leen and the couple said the 公約するs: "I 約束 that I am going to love you tender. I'll never put you through heartbreak hotel.

"So if you 扱う/治療する me nice and don't give me any 怪しげな minds I will love you from rags to riches.

"So love me forever my darling whether it's midnight or in the 早期に morning rain.

"I want you, I need you, I love you because I just cannot help 落ちるing in love with you."

Speaking after the 儀式 the couple, who have been together 10 years and have a five-year-old daughter Holly-Mai, said it was 絶対 fantastic.

Dani, 31, said: "It's been pretty amazing. When he rolled off all the Elvis songs in the 公約するs it was superb.

"He 認める the 儀式 was not 従来の but 追加するd: "We do not do 従来の stuff."

Juliette, 34, said: "It's been fantastic and we have had so much fun. The whole thing has taken our breath away."

The newlyweds were then driven to the airport to 飛行機で行く to Las Vegas later today for their second wedding at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel.

Today's wedding kick-started the Elvis Experience 週末 in Blackpool, where thousands of fans will descend on the seaside town to 支払う/賃金 尊敬の印 to Presley.

Special guest at the wedding was Elvis's step-brother David Stanley, who had flown in from the US.

Mr Stanley's mother Bee married Pr esley's 未亡人d father Vernon, in July 1960.

Mr Stanley was four years old when he first met his 25-year-old famous brother and the pair became life-long friends.

The 46-year-old said: "I remember Elvis as a big brother who helped raise me. He taught me about life, mistakes, 傷つける and 苦痛."

Mr Stanley, who was one of a small group of friends who discovered Elvis dead in his bathroom at Graceland, said his step-brother would be humbled by the 尊敬の印s 存在 made around the world.

He said: "There would be a small smile across his 直面する and a 涙/ほころび in his 注目する,もくろむ as he looked 負かす/撃墜する on us today.

"Which is a 証言 to him that he is remembered after all these years as the king of 激しく揺する'n'roll."
