EXCLUSIVEHow I was stalked by a masked man, mocked, told I had 'ユダヤ人の 注目する,もくろむs' and 公然と vilified by a baying 暴徒 when I visited the プロの/賛成の-Palestinian university 抗議する (軍の)野営地,陣営s that have terrified ユダヤ人の students

There is a Zionist reporter in the (人が)群がる. Do not answer her questions.' These 冷気/寒がらせるing words echoed out of a public 演説(する)/住所 system at the 抗議する (軍の)野営地,陣営 at University College London on Monday.

Almost as one, a (人が)群がる of more than 100 旗-waving プロの/賛成の-パレスチナ デモ参加者/実演宣伝者s turned 一連の会議、交渉/完成する and 星/主役にするd at me.

This turned out to be only the first 出来事/事件 in a 悪意のある week-long (選挙などの)運動をする of 脅迫 as I visited a raft of the new American-style, anti-イスラエル 野営s 広範囲にわたる the country.

For the 残り/休憩(する) of that first afternoon in London, whenever I 試みる/企てるd to talk to anyone, a woman dressed in a forest-green abaya ― a loose-fitting dress favoured by 保守的な イスラム教徒s ― would run up behind me and whisper to my would-be interviewee: 'She's called Sabrina Miller. We've looked her up on Twitter. She's a Zionist. You shouldn't speak to her.'

With trembling fingers, I 削除するd the 星/主役にする of David emoji from my X/Twitter bio the same day 同様に as the '解放する/自由な the 人質s' スローガン that I had uploaded on October 8, the day after Hamas テロリストs 行為/行うd the biggest 虐殺(する) of Jews since the 大破壊/大虐殺.?

Earlier that afternoon, another University College London (UCL) 行動主義者 had について言及するd in passing that I had 'ユダヤ人の-looking 注目する,もくろむs'.

This week has 証明するd a 深く,強烈に 乱すing insight into a new wave of anti-Semitism. And it is only just getting started.

So far, 15 anti-イスラエル (軍の)野営地,陣営s have been 設立するd at some of Britain's most prestigious universities.

I visited four of them in a 企て,努力,提案 to understand the genesis, 目的(とする)s and ambitions of this 驚くべき/特命の/臨時の 現象.

It soon became (疑いを)晴らす to me that the 突発/発生 of プロの/賛成の-パレスチナ campus activism has been 奮起させるd by scenes in the U.S., where more than 1,000 students have been 逮捕(する)d at colleges from Columbia in New York to UCLA in Los Angeles.

American 抗議する人s have been supporting their British 相当するものs over Zoom, advising them on how to manage their (選挙などの)運動をするs and organising '転換 patterns' for people sleeping in the テントs to keep 意気込み/士気 high.

But conversations with British ユダヤ人の students 明らかにする/漏らす that they feel '脅すd' and 'terrified' by the 野営s, which they (人命などを)奪う,主張する are プロの/賛成の-war and プロの/賛成の-暴力/激しさ.

Raphael Cohen, a 25-year-old ユダヤ人の-Israeli land economy student at Cambridge, tells me: 'These 抗議するs and 調印するs make me feel 危険な. They are not 促進するing a 平和的な 解答.

'By 詠唱するing 'From the river to the sea' [a 言及/関連 to the land between the River Jordan, which 国境s eastern イスラエル, and the Mediterranean Sea to the west], they are calling for the deaths of me and my family.

'My family have been 直接/まっすぐに 衝撃d by the terror attacks that took place in our city Ra'anana where there was a 最近の car ramming and we know many people who have tragically been killed in this 衝突.

'But most of these 抗議する人s have an uninformed opinion on Jews and are speaking about the 衝突 from a place of ignorance.'

Hours after Cambridge students had 築くd their campsite on Monday, 19-year-old Ari Vladimir, a ユダヤ人の history student, was violently 押すd and had an Israeli 旗 ripped out of his 手渡すs.

In Manchester, Newcastle, UCL, 物陰/風下d, Warwick, Oxford and Cambridge, ユダヤ人の students have said they are '脅すd' by the spread of anti-Semitic 共謀 theories and プロの/賛成の-terror rhetoric, 含むing 詠唱するs in support of 'intifada' ― the Arabic word for '反乱'.

まっただ中に this maelstrom, 総理大臣 Rishi Sunak, in a 会合 with university leaders this week, told them they have a 'moral 義務' to 保護する ユダヤ人の students from 脅迫 and いやがらせ.

But, so far, the police and university 当局 have 許すd the (軍の)野営地,陣営s to operate 完全に unchecked.

At Oxford, the students 開始する,打ち上げるd their 抗議する at 4.30am on Bank Holiday Monday. Under the cover of 不明瞭, more than 50 balaclava-wearing 行動主義者s gathered on the muddy lawn in 前線 of the Pitt Rivers Museum, 武装した with posters, 旗s and テントs.

にもかかわらず relentless rain, 抗議する人s 築くd about 20 テントs and draped them in Palestinian 旗s, an 行為/法令/行動する made all the more 挑発的な by the fact it was carried out on Yom HaShoah, 大破壊/大虐殺 Remembrance Day.

When I arrived in Oxford on Tuesday, I was stalked by a masked man as I walked around the 野営.

行動主義者s seemed to 心配する my arrival. I soon 設立する that my picture had been taken and disseminated on WhatsApp groups の中で the 抗議する人s.

From the moment I stepped inside the (軍の)野営地,陣営, I was cornered by self-任命するd '安全 guards', their 直面するs wrapped in keffiyehs, balaclavas and 医療の masks, who 封鎖するd my way and 主張するd I speak to the 任命するd 'マスコミ team'.

When I 発表するd I was a 新聞記者/雑誌記者 for the Daily Mail, a 'マスコミ spokesperson' すぐに took my picture. 'This is so everyone knows who you are and not to speak to you,' she said. 'Now please go away.'

I asked if anyone would talk to me about their 決定/判定勝ち(する) to forgo university tutorials in favour of (軍の)野営地,陣営ing in 前線 of the museum.

I 手配中の,お尋ね者 to understand why the Palestinian 原因(となる) was so important to them. The answer was still no.

I carried on into the (軍の)野営地,陣営 にもかかわらず this order to leave. I could see that 新聞記者/雑誌記者s from Iran's 明言する/公表する-owned 圧力(をかける) TV and the Qatari 網状組織 Al Jazeera ― both 敵意を持った to イスラエル ― were inside 行為/行うing interviews.

As I trudged across the sodden grass, a man wearing a 海軍 beanie and a blue 直面する-covering followed closely behind me.

Like a member of the Soviet secret police, he proceeded to peer over my shoulder and read everything I was 令状ing 負かす/撃墜する. Whenever I approached someone, he would butt in and order them not to talk to me. Every 選び出す/独身 抗議する人 obeyed with North Korean-esque deference.

Like teenage いじめ(る)s in a school playground, pairs of 抗議する人s would gather nearby and say loud enough for me to hear, 'Is that the girl from the Daily Mail? Who would ever want to work there?' But I saw enough to realise that the 野営s are 高度に organised, with 旅程s 詳細(に述べる)ing the day's 計画(する)s and mealtimes scribbled on to a whiteboard and 株d 経由で Instagram.

Activities at Oxford 含むd lessons in 'dabke' ― Palestinian folk dancing ― arts and (手先の)技術s 旗,新聞一面トップの大見出し/大々的に報道する-making 開会/開廷/会期s, film 審査s and 会談.

Many of the newly 購入(する)d テントs were stuffed 十分な of student paraphernalia 含むing textbooks, laptops, chargers, teddy 耐えるs and brand-new Osprey (軍の)野営地,陣営ing rucksacks that can cost hundreds of 続けざまに猛撃するs.

This is not a place where 解放する/自由な thinking is encouraged, however. Everyone entering the Oxford (軍の)野営地,陣営 is 軍隊d to 調印する a 過激な プロの/賛成の-パレスチナ online 誓約(する) 明言する/公表するing that Jerusalem is the 資本/首都 of 'パレスチナ' (rather than イスラエル) and that 'colonised people' have the '権利' to 'resist against 占領/職業'.

ユダヤ人の and Israeli students have seen this as an explicit 裏書,是認 of the October 7 attacks ― and on Tues day a ユダヤ人の man in his 30s was turned away from Oxford's いわゆる '解放するd zone' after 辞退するing to 調印する the 声明.?

'The message Israeli students are 審理,公聴会 from these 抗議するs is that your very 存在 is the 製品 of an unfortunate mistake at best, an unspeakable 罪,犯罪 at worst,' said one ユダヤ人の-Israeli Oxford student, who asked not to be 指名するd.

It was much the same story at Cambridge, which 開始する,打ち上げるd its own 野営 in tandem with its famous 競争相手.

When I arrived there on Wednesday, dozens of 同一の-looking orange and green テントs had been 築くd on the 前線 lawn of King's College.

Students entering the 野営 are asked to make a 言葉の 誓約(する) to がまんする by a 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of 'community 指導基準s', which 含む undertakings not to engage with 'Zionist 反対する-抗議する人s'.?

Once inside, 関係者s are shown a '安全 cheat sheet', which 警告するs that police may '掴む' people's phones or '切り開く/タクシー/不正アクセス' them and gives advice on how to hide '罪を負わせるing messages/photos'.

On one end of the (軍の)野営地,陣営 was a large gazebo serving as a '(警察,軍隊などの)本部' and on the other was a bookshelf piled high with 容積/容量s on topics such as 植民地主義 and race. Other elements 含むd a '改正 and 祈り space', 同様に as an '緊急 洗面所'.

When they are not ちらしing passers-by or 詠唱するing スローガンs for the 利益 of the TV cameras, Cambridge 抗議する人s have been seen sunbathing in deckchairs, smoking roll-ups and listening to music by artists 含むing the プロの/賛成の-パレスチナ rapper Lowkey ― or helping themselves to food 寄付するd by 地元のs.

証拠 of their 過激な 協議事項 is ever-現在の. 一時しのぎの物,策 cardboard 調印するs in 前線 of the (軍の)野営地,陣営 耐える スローガンs such as 'From Cambridge to Gaza, long live the intifada' ― an explicit call to 暴力/激しさ ― and '抵抗 is 正当化するd if a people are 占領するd', an 明らかな 裏書,是認 of Hamas's 大虐殺.

Their smiling 直面するs as they 手渡す out flyers cannot 隠す the 憎悪 that defines their 原因(となる).

The students participating in the protests have vowed to remain on university property ― with their tents and sleeping bags ― until the authorities agree to their long lists of demands

The students 参加するing in the 抗議するs have 公約するd to remain on university 所有物/資産/財産 ― with their テントs and sleeping 捕らえる、獲得するs ― until the 当局 agree to their long 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s of 需要・要求するs

It turns out that the (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) ちらしs 存在 圧力(をかける)d on people were 寄付するd by 'Friends Of Al-Aqsa', a ロビー group 設立するd in 1997 by Ismail Patel, one of the 重要な organisers of the 'パレスチナ 団結 marches' in London, who has 以前 been criticised for defending and 賞賛するing Hamas.

In January 2009, during another 衝突 in Gaza, Patel told a large 決起大会/結集させる: 'Hamas is no テロリスト organisation... we salute Hamas for standing up t o イスラエル.'

He has also 株d ビデオs 誤って (人命などを)奪う,主張するing that no one had been 大虐殺d by Hamas gunmen at a music festival in イスラエル on October 7.

調印するs and 旗s 耐えるing the insignia of the 社会主義者 労働者s Party (SWP) and the 革命の 共産主義者 Party are also scattered around the Cambridge (軍の)野営地,陣営. It is 不明瞭な to what extent these 極端論者 groups are 伴う/関わるd in co-ordinating and supporting the 抗議する人s but the SWP has a long 記録,記録的な/記録する of organising 抗議するs on campus 経由で its student arm.

On fundraising website Chuffed, the Cambridge student 団体/死体 has attracted more than £10,000 to 供給(する) campers with '援助(する)'.

緊急 寄付するd 供給(する)s 含む different varieties of soya and oat milk, board games and vegan 軽食s.

A ユダヤ人の Israeli first-year student, who asked not to be 指名するd, told me: 'This country is no longer a 安全な space for a ユダヤ人の person to live in.

'Most of these 抗議する人s have no 関係 to パレスチナ. They put on keffiyehs that they ordered on アマゾン so they can cosplay as the 抑圧するd.'

Inside one テント in Cambridge, a can of 国会 Coke had been left discarded on the 床に打ち倒す ― one camper 明確に unaware that Coke is on the 行動主義者s' ボイコット(する) 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) because it has a factory in the town of Atarot, which the 抗議する人s consider to be 'stolen Palestinian land'.

A fourth-year ユダヤ人の student at Cambridge tells me: 'I don't think most of these people really understand the violent things they are 詠唱するing. But when I read their 調印するs and hear their songs I think, should I be worried for my safety? Does this mean they want me to be killed in 自殺 爆破s?'

As the sun began to 始める,決める, students in Cambridge waved a 調印する at me that read: 'Do not speak to this Daily Mail 新聞記者/雑誌記者'.

Th e に引き続いて evening, the tech 億万長者 Peter Thiel, who was giving a speech at the Cambridge Union, was 的d by a group of プロの/賛成の-パレスチナ 選挙運動者s on the grounds that his data-採掘 company Palantir 作品 with the イスラエル Defence 軍隊s.

They also started jeering at me, 詠唱するing 'shame' and 'liar' in a scene that 似ているd the 'two minute hate' in George Orwell's dystopian novel 1984.

The いやがらせ didn't stop. In both Oxford and Cambridge, I was pointed at by groups of young people I had never met, even when I was miles from the テントd village. 'It's the 新聞記者/雑誌記者 from the Daily Mail,' they muttered as I passed.

At UCL, a マスコミ 広報担当者 called Anwar was willing to 雑談(する). 'We want for the university to divest from companies complicit in the 集団殺戮 in Gaza, 非難する the war 罪,犯罪s and 集団殺戮 in Gaza, and to help 再建する Gaza's education 部門,' he told me.

'権利 now, we have an 倫理的な 不一致 with the university and it's our 責任/義務 to 持つ/拘留する the university to account.

'UCL alumni ― 顕著に English literature professor Dr Refaat Alareer ― have been killed in the war 残虐(行為)s in Gaza. We want the universities to 認める this.'

As we spoke, cars honked in support of the 抗議する人s and cries of '解放する/自由な パレスチナ' could be heard from passers-by.

デモ参加者/実演宣伝者s 定期的に 詠唱する 'We will honour all our 殉教者s' and 'Zionists go 支援する home, パレスチナ is not your home.'

But it wasn't all one-way traffic. As Anwar and I were talking, a man 嵐/襲撃するd に向かって us and ripped a Palestinian 旗 off the nearby railings before 急ぐing off.

一方/合間, a dossier 得るd by the Mail 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s a number of other problematic 出来事/事件s at (軍の)野営地,陣営s across the UK.

In 物陰/風下d, a woman (刑事)被告 a group of ユダヤ人の students who had 始める,決める up a stand 充てるd to anti-Semitism of liking 'dead babies', a 返答 to the deaths of Palestinian children.

Someone else chalked the words 'Glory to the 殉教者s' on campus grounds and other graffiti grotesquely (刑事)被告 イスラエル of 収穫ing Palestinian 組織/臓器s.

An 野営 at Newcastle held a 審査 of a 文書の about Leila Khaled, the Popular 前線 for the 解放 of パレスチナ member who 達成するd notoriety for her 役割 in the 1969 ハイジャック of a TWA 定期航空機 飛行機で行くing from Rome to Tel Aviv.

Now, many of the (軍の)野営地,陣営s are 拡大するing.

'We want to get bigger and bigger,' a 女性(の) 抗議する人 at UCL said recently.

'平和的な 抗議する? Rubbish, it does nothing. Zionist 態度s start young, and we need our 会・原則s to 訂正する that.

'非,不,無 of us are 解放する/自由な until all of us are 解放する/自由な, until Zionism is gone.'

She pointed に向かって the university buildings and said: 'We want to 占領する their land! Spread, spread, spread!'

At all the universities I visited, the students 参加するing in the 抗議するs have 公約するd to remain on university 所有物/資産/財産 ― with their テントs and sleeping 捕らえる、獲得するs ― until the 当局 agree to their long 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s of 需要・要求するs.

At UCL, these boil 負かす/撃墜する to three things: stop 投資するing in イスラエル or Israeli companies, 非難する the '集団殺戮' in Gaza and 誓約(する) scholarships to Palestinians.

The Oxford 抗議する人s have six 需要・要求するs, while the Cambridge (軍の)野営地,陣営 have composed a rather いっそう少なく snappy eight-page letter.

On Wednesday, Professor Deborah Prentice, the Cambridge 副/悪徳行為-(ドイツなどの)首相/(大学の)学長, said: 'We are fully committed to freedom of speech within the 法律 and the 権利 to 抗議する.

'We will not 許容する anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or any other form of racial or 宗教的な 憎悪 in our community.

And a 広報担当者 for the University of Oxford said: 'We 尊敬(する)・点 our students' and staff members' 権利 to freedom of 表現 in the form of 平和的な 抗議するs.

'We ask everyone who is taking part to do so with 尊敬(する)・点, 儀礼 and empathy.

'As we have 強調する/ストレスd in our student and staff communications, there is no place for intolerance at the University of Oxford.'

As the old proverb goes, there are 非,不,無 so blind as those who will not see.
