The owners of a kebab shop in むちの跡s gave more than 50 of their 顧客s food 毒（薬）ing, with 11 of them 存在 hospitalised, after serving 汚染するd food.?

The 突発／発生 happened in February 2023 when 顧客s ate food 汚染するd with shigella bacteria at Abergavenny’s Marmaris Kebab House in むちの跡s.

Shigella bacteria is 極端に contagious and is spread when a person swallows a small 量 of it from the stool of someone who is 感染させるd.?

For example, someone may 契約 shigella if they eat food 用意が出来ている by someone who has it and didn't wash their 手渡すs.

The main symptom of 感染 is diarrhoea, often 含む／封じ込めるing 血, but many also experience a fever and stomach 苦痛. Although shigella is not life 脅すing, people are often hospitalised with it and symptoms last for five to seven days.

Sami Abdullah,?the takeaway's director, and his associate Hassan Saritag?appeared at Newport 治安判事s' 法廷，裁判所 on Wednesday and both pleaded 有罪の to placing 危険な food on the market, failing to put in place food safety 手続きs, and failing to 登録（する） new owners at the 商売／仕事.

What is shigella 感染??

Shigella 感染 (shigellosis) is an 腸の 感染 原因（となる）d by a family of bacteria known as shigella. The main 調印する of shigella 感染 is diarrhoea, which often is 血まみれの.

Shigella is very contagious. It spreads when people swallow small 量s of bacteria from the stool of a person who is 感染させるd. For example, this can happen in a child care setting when staff members don't wash their 手渡すs 井戸／弁護士席 enough after changing diapers or helping toddlers with 洗面所 training.

Shigella bacteria can also be passed in 感染させるd food and by drinking or swimming in 危険な water.

At the time of the 突発／発生 Public Health むちの跡s said it was aware of an 増加する in 事例／患者s of gastrointestinal illness in Abergavenny believed to be 原因（となる）d by the shigella 感染.?

すぐに after the 突発／発生, one person told WalesOnline their family and friends had been through 'horrendous sickness' after 契約ing shigella に引き続いて a visit to the takeaway on Friday, February 10 last year.?

They said: 'My 親族s became incredibly sick on the に引き続いて Sunday and Monday with symptoms 固執するing through to the 中央の-week for one and late week for the other.?

'Symptoms 含むd some vomiting, fevers, terrible stomach cramps and 血 in their diarrhoea.'
