Millions of university students 卒業生（する）ing this month may soon be re-thinking their majors, thanks to a new 熟考する／考慮する.

A 報告（する）／憶測 解放（する）d today by Georgetown University shows choice of undergraduate major in college is 堅固に tied to a student's 未来 収入s, with the highest-支払う／賃金ing majors 供給するing salaries of about 300 per cent more than the lowest-支払う／賃金ing.

Based on first-of-its-肉親，親類d 国勢（人口）調査 data, 分析 of 171 majors shows that さまざまな undergraduate majors can lead to 意味ありげに different median 給料.

Anthony Carnevale, director of Georgetown's 中心 on Education and the 全労働人口, told the Associated 圧力（をかける）: 'It's important that you go to college and get a (bachelor's degree), but it's almost three to four times more important what you take. The majors that are most popular are not the ones that make the most money.'
