The director giving up a £130,000 salary for her children

'It's going to be an awful wrench but I have three young children under the age of eight who don't really see me too often.

'I try to take them to school in the morning but I don't 普通は get home until eight or nine o'clock at night,' she said. 'I do see them but おもに at 週末s.'

'I was able to do a lot more flexitime and some days I would work from home. But there is no real pattern, work is very 激しい. I have done two or three-week stints in the office, barely going home.

'I just want to get myself a bit more balance. I feel that the older the children get, the more moral support they need from me. It mattersto my eight-year-old that I'm not able to go and watch him play rugby on a Wednesday afternoon.'

'I can't see myself playing Lego and 注ぐing my husband gin and tonics for ever. And he doesn't earn the 肉親，親類d of City salary to support the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed.

'I will go on and do something else but it's got to fit in with the children. At the moment my life is 分裂（する） 90 per cent - 10 per cent, at least mentally, in favour of work.

'In 未来 I certainly want it to be nearer 60-40 or 70-30 in favour of my children.'
