'We were 扱う/治療するd like animals', fans

A number of England football fans turned away from Turkey after 反抗するing 警告s not to travel for the 決定的な Euro 2004 qualifier have arrived 支援する in the UK.

Forty-five 支持者s were 拘留するd at Istanbul's Ataturk airport and were 存在 put on flights 支援する to Britain.

One fan arriving at Heathrow said fans had been 扱う/治療するd "like animals" while others were more philosophical about their failed 試みる/企てる to reach the game.

During the build-up to the match, the Foreign Office 問題/発行するd 堅固に worded advice for fans to stay away and England coach Sven Goran Eriksson said they could even be putting their lives in jeopardy if they 投機・賭けるd to Turkey.

A group of four fans from Nottingham, who flew out to Turkey from Manchester this week, landed at Heathrow angry at their 治療 by the British 当局 in Turkey.

建設業者 Rick Farmary, 31, said he had no 意向 of going to the ground but planned to see the match at his Turkish hotel.

He said the group had bought flights months ago and had arranged to 会合,会う Turkish friends in Istanbul.

"I've spent a lot of money for this and I am gutted. We were 警告するd but not told that we were not able to go."
