A ヘリコプター hovers over the hotel and in the next moment a trace of 解雇する/砲火/射撃 is seen hitting the roof.

The attack on a five-storey, Western-style hotel in the 資本/首都 raised 疑問 about the ability of Afghan 安全 軍隊s to take 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金 of 安全な・保証するing the nation from foreign 戦闘 軍隊s.

The 強襲,強姦 began at around 10pm yesterday eight 自殺 攻撃者s killed the guards and entered the building.

During the next four hours, a number of 労働者s were killed as the men 嵐/襲撃するd through the hotel, which sits on a hill overlooking the city.

The 11 非軍事のs killed 含むd a 裁判官 from an 無名の 州, five hotel 労働者s and three Afghan policemen, Latifullah Mashal, the 広報担当者 of the Afghan 国家の Directorate for Securitym said.

He said no foreigners were killed, but two were の中で 14 people 負傷させるd in the attack. He did not 公表する/暴露する their 国籍s.

The 攻撃者s were ひどく 武装した with machine guns, anti-航空機 武器s, ロケット/急騰する-propelled 手りゅう弾s, 手渡す 手りゅう弾s and 手りゅう弾 発射台s, the Afghan 公式の/役人s said. Afghan police 急ぐd to the scene and firefights broke out.

'I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE'

An American PhD student has relived the terrifying moment he was caught up in the 砲火 - 誘発するing him to 令状 his own will.

Saiz Ahmed had just eaten dinner and returned to his fourth-床に打ち倒す room at the InterContinental Hotel when he heard loud noises.

He thought that there might have been a 力/強力にする 削減(する) when the lights went out but moments later realised it was 砲火.

The InterContinental - known 広範囲にわたって as the 'の間の-反対/詐欺' opened in the late 1960s - was the nation's first international 高級な hotel.

It has at least 200 rooms and was once part of an international chain. But when the Soviets 侵略するd Afghanistan in 1979, the hotel was left to fend for itself.

And in February 2010, 謀反のs struck two 居住の hotels in the heart of Kabul, 殺人,大当り 20 people 含むing seven India ns, a French filmmaker and an Italian 外交官.
