BT 支払う／賃金s £290,000 to telesales 労働者 sexually 悩ますd by 経営者／支配人

• The sum is the highest 雇用 法廷 award in the past year

A teles ales 労働者 who was sexually 悩ますd by her 経営者／支配人 has won a £290,000 payout from British Telecom - the highest 雇用 法廷 award in the past year.

Petrina Taylor, 36, complained about her ordeal at the 手渡すs of 'dangerous' sex pest boss Craig Alcock - but BT’s 返答 was 'woeful', a 法廷 支配するd.

Up to ten women have 告訴するd BT recently for 性の いやがらせ that they 恐らく 苦しむd at the 手渡すs of a number of different men while working for its ‘顧客 Street’ telesales 操作／手術.

The 会社／堅い has settled several 事例／患者s out of 法廷，裁判所.

行方不明になる Taylor had to 耐える boss Mr Alcock 'thrusting' himself at her and 女性（の） 同僚s and was 警告するd by him that if she failed to land a 取引，協定 he would 成し遂げる a sex 行為／法令／行動する over her.

When she asked for time off to see her doctor over her contraception, he replied: 'What are you telling me for? I’m not 押すing it up you.'

Mr Alcock branded 行方不明になる Taylor’s team 'sheep shaggers' and 'inbreds' and 述べるd 妊娠している women as a 'nuisance'.

He talked about a 女性（の） 同僚’s breasts, called a 妊娠している 従業員 a 'lazy cow' and when told another 同僚 was 推定する／予想するing, he replied: 'Not another one'.

Mr Alcock was also 設立する to have been 率直に 人種差別主義者 and homophobic.

He referred to a male Asian 労働者 as a 'chocolate 兵士', another 従業員 as a '黒人／ボイコット dude' and said that a third 'batted both ways' and 'takes c*ck'.

Mr Alcock had moved across to work for BT in July 2008 when it bought a telesales 商売／仕事 that then 貿易（する）d as BT 顧客 Street.

行方不明になる Taylor’s solicitor Jonathan Dyson, of 法律 会社／堅い Wilkinson Woodward, said: 'It is surprising that on acquiring the 商売／仕事 in 2008 BT did not vet 管理／経営 more carefully. Had they done so, the 損失 苦しむd by my （弁護士の）依頼人 could have been 避けるd.'

Mr Alcock was only asked by bosses to apologise to 行方不明になる Taylor in January 2009 when she complained about his 天然のまま 発言／述べる about contraception.

The 法廷 受託するd her 証拠 that her ordeal meant she would never feel able to return to a 'high 圧力 sales 環境'.

The 広報担当者 said the company regretted the 治療 of 行方不明になる Taylor
and said it 認める 義務／負債 at an 早期に 行う／開催する／段階, also apologising to 行方不明になる Taylor.

'BT 認める 義務／負債 in this 事例／患者 at an 早期に 行う／開催する／段階, before the 法廷 過程 結論するd in March, and has 公然と apologised to Ms Taylor.

He 追加するd: 'We have worked hard to bring 顧客 Street up to BT’s usual 基準s of fair 治療 for all 従業員s.'
