Man killed trying to stop 自動車泥棒

A man died after 存在 knocked 負かす／撃墜する as he tried to stop a 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑うd 自動車泥棒 escaping with his 乗り物.

The 57-year-old man from Preston was killed after 存在 run over as he tried to stop the どろぼう at Liverpool's John Lennon Airport while he was 荷を降ろすing his car.

It is believed that the 犠牲者 was going on holiday with his wife.

A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said the 犠牲者's wife had got out of their silver Volvo 広い地所 to get a trolley and her husband was 荷を降ろすing 事例／患者s from the boot when a man approached the car and got into the driver's seat.

The 犠牲者 then went to the 前線 of the car and tried to stop the man 運動ing off, but the 違反者／犯罪者 moved the car 今後 and the 犠牲者 was knocked 負かす／撃墜する and 罠にかける under the car.

The 違反者／犯罪者 then got out of the car and into what is believed to be a waiting maroon-coloured Ford 護衛する, driven by another man, and they both escaped.

Merseyside 解雇する／砲火／射撃 Service was called to the scene to 解放（する） the 犠牲者, but he died at the scene.

Superintendent John Myles said: "I am 控訴，上告ing to anyone who 証言，証人／目撃するd this despicable and 臆病な／卑劣な 罪，犯罪 to come 今後. The 犠牲者 and his wife were looking 今後 to going on holiday when 悲劇 struck. These people need to be caught.

"We believe that the 違反者／犯罪者s left the scene in a maroon Ford 護衛する car. I am 控訴，上告ing to anyone who may have seen the car at about 5.40am this morning to 接触する us."
