Waterlogged Thailand turns to U.S. 軍の for help as fresh 危機 脅すs after worst flooding in １０年間s

Waterlogged Thailand has asked a U.S. 軍艦 to stay in the country and help to 保釈（金） it out after its worst flooding in １０年間s.

The USS Mustin and its two SH-60 Seahawk ヘリコプターs ドッキングする／減らす／ドックに入れるd at Laem Chabang a few days ago for a week-long visit, but will now be staying for longer.

U.S. defence 公式の／役人s said Washington had received 'mixed messages' from Bangkok over the flooding, which has gone on for three months and has left more than 377 people dead, mostly in northern and central Thailand

恐れる gripped Bangkok 早期に today as tides along the 湾 of Thailand crested at about 9am and 押し進めるd the city's main 水路, the Chao Phraya river, to its brink.

The northern 郊外s of the city and the western 味方する of the Chao Phraya river have so far been the worst 攻撃する，衝突する, with water waist-深い in places.

There was minor flooding in Bangkok's riverside areas, 含むing by the Grand Palace, but the high tide of 2.5 metres above sea level was lower than 恐れるd and most of the city was 乾燥した，日照りの.

She also said the 政府 had 器具／実施するd a 計画（する） to 加速する the drainage 率 and that water in the greater Bangkok area should recede by the first week of November.

一方／合間, the streets of central Bangkok - the country's 財政上の heart - were bone-乾燥した，日照りの and bustling with taxis, restaurant-goers and tourists snapping pictures.

But the city remained at 危険 as high tides along the 湾 were 推定する／予想するd to crest again late in the day, 脅すing to 妨害する the flood run-off from the north. The 政府 is also worried major 障壁s and dykes could break.

The city's main international gateway, Suvarnabhumi airport, remained open.

Ms Yingluck, the sister of 逃亡者／はかないもの former 首相 Thaksin Shinawatra, has been in office for barely two months and her 行政 has 直面するd 批評 for giving 混乱させるing advice about the extent of the flood 脅し.
