安全な sex: A new 熟考する/考慮する has 設立する that young men with high levels of the sex hormone are more likely to use condoms and have 保護するd sex

The 研究, by Sari 先頭 Anders a behavioral neuroendocrinologist at the University of Michigan, 焦点(を合わせる)d on 18 and 19-year-old men in their first year of college.

‘One of the things that is 利益/興味ing about these results is that they're one of the first to 論証する a link between higher testosterone and いっそう少なく 危険-taking in any domain.’ 先頭 Anders told Live Science.

She said it is possible that men get an ego and testosterone 上げる from 安全な-sex practices, because it makes them appear as knowledgeable about sex.

However, 先頭 Anders also told Live Science, that the findings may 明らかにする/漏らす that for young college men, 主張するing on 安全な sex could feel like a riskier move than unprotected sex.

‘There's this 団体/死体 of 研究 showing that people often 見解(をとる) safer sex 行為s and people who engage in them in a somewhat 消極的な light, 先頭 Anders said.

Therefore, she said, the ‘social 危険’ of 主張するing on using a condom might 要求する more boldness and 信用/信任 then having unprotected sex.

UNHAPPY SIDE EFFECT OF TEENAGE SEX

Boys who have sex during adolescence could be stunting the growth of their man-hoods.

研究員s from Ohio 明言する/公表する University said that 存在 sexually active while the nervous system was still developing can be linked to '継続している 影響s on the 団体/死体 and mood'.

However, the 熟考する/考慮する's 支配するs were not human teens, but hamsters.

'Having a 性の experience 早期に in life, is not without consequence,' John Morris, a co-author of the 熟考する/考慮する said.

The team 熟考する/考慮するd sexually active hamsters at 40 days old ? 早期に teens in human 条件 -? 同様に as in 'adulthood,' at 80 days.

The animals were chosen 'because they have physiologic similarities to humans'.

実験(する)s on the animals' 苦悩 levels showed that the hamsters who were sexually active earlier had a smaller total 団体/死体 集まり, and a 減少(する) in reproductive tissue, as adults.

They were also more 傾向がある to 不景気 and 自動車-免疫の problems.

Testosterone is linked to boldness and 信用/信任, 同様に as making risky 決定/判定勝ち(する)s, such as making 高くつく/犠牲の大きい 財政上の bets.

But the 概念 of 危険 is culturally defined, 先頭 Anders said.

In the 事例/患者 of sex, the obvious 危険 would be of pregnancy or sexually transmitted 感染s (STI). But for some people, those 危険s seem ありそうもない, she said, while the 危険 of having a partner think you are untrustworthy or already 感染させるd if you 主張する on using a condom is very 即座の.

‘Do you care more about the 可能性 of acquiring an STI, which might seem ありそうもない にもかかわらず all these 教育の 成果/努力s, or do you care more about your partner 権利 now, 潜在的に thinking 消極的な things about you?’ 先頭 Anders said.

The results 明らかにする/漏らすd that men with higher testosterone levels had more 肯定的な 態度s about 安全な sex.

They were also more likely to say they had used a condom even if there were 障害s such as social stigma in the way, the 研究員s 報告(する)/憶測d in the 定期刊行物 of 性の 薬/医学.

The lower-testosterone men showed いっそう少なく 受託 toward condoms, and were いっそう少なく likely have tried to use a condom in a 状況/情勢 where doing so was ぎこちない or さもなければ difficult, Live Science 報告(する)/憶測s.

In the 熟考する/考慮する, 研究員s asked 78 men, who were mostly 異性愛の and from high-income families, to answer questionnaires about their health, 性の activity and 態度s toward condom use and other 安全な-sex practices.

Each 関係者 供給するd a saliva 見本, from which the 研究員s were able to 手段 their testosterone levels.
