Kim Jong Un (pictured) the third son of Kim Jong Il, has been 指名するd as the '広大な/多数の/重要な 後継者' by the 判決,裁定 労働者s' Party.

He is said to have a fondness for James 社債 and basketball 星/主役にする Michael Jordan - and is believed to have been schooled in Switzerland. Sources say he speaks some English, German and French.

Kim Jong Il's eldest son, Kim Jung Nam, was supposed to be his 相続人. But he fell out of favour after he was caught trying to こそこそ動く a trip to Tokyo Disneyland using a (1)偽造する/(2)徐々に進むd パスポート.

He since said he …に反対するs the 'hereditary succession for three 世代s' but said he would like his younge r brother 'to do his best for the people of North Korea and their true wealth'.

専門家s have said Kim Jong Un is not ready to 支配する as he has only been groomed for the 職業 for three years. His father was groomed for 14 years before taking 支配(する)/統制する in 1994.

It is likely that Kim Jong Un's uncle, Jang Song Thaek, will 支配する behind the scenes as he trains on the 職業, the 全世界の 知能 会社/堅い Stratfor said.

North Korean legend has it he was born on 開始する Paekdu, one of Korea's most 心にいだくd 場所/位置s, in 1942, a birth 先触れ(する)d in the heavens by a pair of rainbows and a brilliant new 星/主役にする. Soviet 記録,記録的な/記録するs, however, 示す he was born in Siberia, in 1941.

Kim Il Sung, who for years fought for independence from Korea's 植民地の 支配者, Japan, from a base in Russia, 現れるd as a 共産主義者 leader after returning to Korea in 1945 after Japan was 敗北・負かすd in World War II.

With the 半島 divided between the Soviet-治めるd north and the U.S.-治めるd south, Kim rose to 力/強力にする as North Korea's first leader in 1948 while Syngman Rhee became South Korea's first 大統領,/社長.

The North 侵略するd the South in 1950, 誘発するing a war that would last three years, kill millions of 非軍事のs and leave the 半島 divided by a 非武装化するd Zone that today remains one of the world's most ひどく 防備を堅める/強化するd.

In the North, Kim Il Sung meshed Stalinist ideology with a 教団 of personality that encompassed him and his son. Their portraits hang in every building in North Korea and on the lapels of every dutiful North Korean.

Kim Jong Il, a 卒業生(する) of Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung University, was 33 when his father anointed him his 結局の 後継者. Eve n before he took over as leader, there were 調印するs the younger Kim would 持続する - and perhaps 越える - his father's hard-line 姿勢.

South Korea has (刑事)被告 Kim of 操るing a 1983 爆破 that killed 17 South Korean 公式の/役人s visiting Burma, now known as Myanmar.

He faithfully carried out his father's 政策 of '軍の first,' 充てるing much of the country's 不十分な 資源s to its 軍隊/機動隊s - even as his people 苦しむd from a 長引かせるd 飢饉 - and built the world's fifth-largest 軍の.

Kim also sought to build up the country's 核の 武器 兵器庫, which 最高潮に達するd in North Korea's first 核の 実験(する) 爆発, an 地下組織の 爆破 行為/行うd in October 2006. Another 実験(する) (機の)カム in 2009.

Alarmed, 地域の leaders 交渉するd a 軍備縮小-for-援助(する) 協定/条約 that the North 調印するd in 2007 and began 器具/実施するing later that year. However, the 過程 continues to be 立ち往生させるd, even as 外交官s work to 再開する 交渉s.

North Korea, long 妨害するd by 許可/制裁s and unable to 料金d its own people, is desperate for 援助(する). Flooding in the 1990s that destroyed the 大部分は 山地の country's arable land left millions hungry. に引き続いて the 飢饉, the number of North Koreans 逃げるing the country through 中国 rose 劇的な, with many telling tales of hunger , political 迫害 and 権利s 乱用s that 公式の/役人s in Pyongyang emphatically 否定するd.
