Twins Ena and Lily 宣言するd the oldest in the world after celebrating their 102nd birthday together
Two sisters celebrated their 102nd birthday today as 公式に the oldest twins in the world - and were 決定するd to spend it together.
Ena Pugh and Lily Millward, who were born on 4 January 1910, have always 株d their big day with each other.
Lily was yesterday laid up in hospital with a broken hip - にもかかわらず, she had one special 訪問者 when her twin Ena called to wish her happy birthday.

The pair were given 102nd birthday 現在のs of copies of the Guinness World 記録,記録的な/記録するs 調書をとる/予約する by their family so they could see their own 入ること/参加(者).
Lily's proud daughter Dianne Powell, 65, told むちの跡s News Service: 'My mum's 回復するing in hospital after she slipped and fell just before Christmas. But she's in good spirits and enjoying the attention of 存在 one of the world's oldest twins.
'Ena pops in to see her in hospital when she can - they are very の近くに. And にもかかわらず the terrible 天候 she made a special 成果/努力 to get together on their birthday.'
農業者's daughters Ena and Lily were born before the 突発/発生 of the First World War when Queen Victoria's son Edward VII was king.
The pair, who still live in their own houses 近づく Brecon in the Welsh countryside, 会合,会う up for 週刊誌 shopping 開会/開廷/会期s and 雑談(する) on the telephone 事実上 every night.

'We used to work on the farm all day, but we would enjoy ourselves,' she said. 'It was a lot of fun and sociable. We've been very lucky and we have always had good health.'

Their family had no idea Ena and Lily were the oldest twins in the world until a pair in フラン (人命などを)奪う,主張するd the 記録,記録的な/記録する. But checks showed Ena and Lily were more than three years older.
Mrs Powell said: 'They have been very の近くに all their lives and they are still very の近くに now.
'Until my mum's 事故 they would jump on a bus on their own every Friday so they can go shopping together and have a 雑談(する) over a cup of tea.

Ena was born first, with Lily a few minutes later, on a chilly day in January 1910 in their family farm cottage in the tiny village of Garthbrengy, 近づく Brecon in 中央の-むちの跡s.
Their parents, Charles and Laura Thomas, had ten children - 含むing twin brothers - but Ena and Lily are the only 生存者s.
Ena married railwayman Ivor who died more than 20 years ago. She still lives in her country cottage where she raised their three children - and now has ten grandchildren and three 広大な/多数の/重要な-grandchildren.

Both of the twi ns shun some of the 高級なs of modern life - neither has central heating in their home.
The sisters live just a dozen miles away from each other in the fresh 空気/公表する of the Welsh countryside - Ena at Erwood, 近づく Builth 井戸/弁護士席s, and Lily still in her home village of Garthbrengy, 近づく Brecon, but in a different house.
The pair believe the last time they were separated on their birthday was 予定 to illness when they were both 79.
So they were 決定するd to see each other for their big day yesterday. The sisters spent half an hour together at Lily's 病人の枕元 in Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny, where they each had a slice of birthday cake.
Mrs Powell said: 'They took 広大な/多数の/重要な delight at seeing their picture in the Guinness 調書をとる/予約する of 記録,記録的な/記録するs - they are both very proud of their 肩書を与える.'
