This is the house that compassion is building - a 聖域 for an Mely, the orangutan, who has 耐えるd year of 乱用 until her 救助（する） in 2009.

After her 苦境 was made public, thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs were 寄付するd by Mail readers to help the stricken animal.

One animal lover even 寄付するd a 大規模な £500,000 gift which 確実にするd that Mely will never again know want, 恐れる or 苦しむing.?

The 匿名の／不明の 寄贈者 sent the money to British 野性生物 charity International Animal 救助（する） earlier this year after we 最高潮の場面d her 苦境 in the ジャングルs of far off Borneo.

Now the rythmm of the ジャングル 激しく揺するs to a new （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域 - digging, 大打撃を与えるing, sawing and 計画（する）ing as the 木造の home that will 保護する her and her pals is finished.

Mely was snatched from her mother 16 years ago, shackled in chains, tethered on to a tiny verandah as a pet.

She had 耐えるd seeing her mother 発射 and her carcass left to rot by a fisherman who 手配中の，お尋ね者 to keep her as a トロフィー pet.?

Traumatised and alone, the special 社債ing that creatures like her need was 否定するd her.

Instead she was an outcast, fed on raw noodles and chilli 砕く which left her undernourished and unhealthy.

In the wild a diet rich in fruit and fibres would have grown 四肢s that would have propelled her Tarzan-like through the canopy of rainforest trees that form her natural habitat.?

As it was her 武器 and 脚s could barely support her when IAR 公式の／役人s were greenlighted by the Indonesian 政府 to 救助（する） her in 2009.

The money was used on 輸送（する） - boat, 計画（する） and lorry - to get Mely from her 捕らわれた to her new home.

Help finally （機の）カム for Mely on Friday 22 October 2010 when the IAR 救助（する） team swung into 活動／戦闘.

武装した with the 公式の／役人 licence to 押収する her and …を伴ってd by members of the 地元の police department who are 要求するd to be in 出席 whenever a 捕虜 orangutan is 掴むd, she was 解放する／自由な at last.

残り／休憩（する）ing: Mely sleeps soundly in her hammock at the Internatinonal Animal 救助（する） centre in Ketapang Borneo. When she was 救助（する）d Mely was lightly sedated so that the cruel padlock and chain from her neck could be 除去するd

New beginnings: Monkey World Ape 救助（する） Centre in Dorset advised on the construction work for the 60 acre enclosure that will house Mely and some of her new 設立する friends at Ketapang

Caring: 'Mely had never seen another orangutan since she lost her mother, so it took some time and patience to get her through this 行う／開催する／段階 of her rehabilitation,' said the IAR

Karmele Llano Sanchez, Veterinary Director of IAR in Indonesia, said: 'Having waited months for the go ahead to 救助（する） her we received the call telling us that it was all systems go.

There was very little time to 計画（する） or 準備する. We knew Mely's owner had been trying to sell her and we were terrified of arriving to find that she had 消えるd ? along with the chance to save her.

Thankfully she was still there and her owner 手渡すd her over without argument.

'When the 救助（する） team arrived it was （疑いを）晴らす that Mely was bewildered and 脅すd by all the 激変. Mely was taken first by boat 負かす／撃墜する the Sambas river ? a distance of only a few short miles.

Then she travelled by road for a その上の four hours to Pontianak where, after her documentation had been 完全に checked and 認可するd by aiport 公式の／役人s, she was flown by 計画（する） to Ketapang.

A final short トラックで運ぶ-ride brought her to IAR's 救助（する） and rehabilitation centre where the 残り／休憩（する） of the team was waiting to 迎える／歓迎する her and settle her in to her 検疫 ４半期/4分の1s.

On arrival at the centre, Mely was lightly sedated so that the cruel padlock and chain from her neck could be 除去するd and? a swift 医療の examination was carried out without upsetting her.

In 予定 course 血 実験（する）s and X-rays 設立するd that she was not 苦しむing any serious 病気s or 病気s.

'Mely had never seen another orangutan since she lost her mother, so it took some time and patience to get her through this 行う／開催する／段階 of her rehabilitation,' said the IAR.

Another £100,000 is still needed to 完全にする the ジャングル home for Mely and her pals - IAR hopes that 寄付s will spike when news of her 進歩 spreads.

As she recuperated she made friends with a fellow orangutan called Nicky, also 救助（する）d after a lifetime as a pet.?

A spokeswoman for IAR said; 'What a wonderful gesture for a Daily Mail reader to make.? Mely 明確に touched the hearts of all.? Much more work does need to be done to help these beautiful creatures, but for Mely the 未来 is looking 有望な indeed.'
