悲劇 at 最初の／主要な school as girl, six, dies after 'choking on her lunch'

A girl of six choked to death on her school lunch, it 現れるd yesterday.

Chantelle Frith died last Thursday as she sat 負かす／撃墜する to eat at Pentland 最初の／主要な School in Billingham, Teesside.

The youngster was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton but にもかかわらず desperate 成果／努力s to 生き返らせる her she later died.

Chantelle lived with her grandmother, Denise Firth, 47, her 合法的な 後見人, in Billingham.

Her parents, Christopher Firth, 27, and Karen McCue, 27, both from Bradford, West Yorkshire, have learning difficulties, the 検死 was told.

Worrying: Headteacher of the school Hazel Ducker said: 'Our pupils and staff are still in a 明言する／公表する of shock and we are working hard to support any children who have been 影響する／感情d during this upsetting and difficult time'

Parents at the school were 知らせるd about the 悲劇 and spoke yesterday of their shock.

One parent, who did not wish to be 指名するd, said she was considering pulling her son out of the school.

‘I am very 関心d now,’ she said. ‘I am considering whether to send him 支援する after the 復活祭 holidays or try and get him into another school.

‘I know children have 事故s but you wonder how a child can choke to death.’

She 追加するd: ‘There were police outside the school when I 選ぶd my little boy up on Thursday but I just thought they might have been there to do a 陳列する，発揮する or something.

‘It is just terrible.’

News of the 悲劇 also spread online. One person wrote on Twitter: ‘Just heard about the little girl who died at Pentland. Went to school with my little cousin. 悲劇の for someone so young.’

Another person wrote on the social 網状組織ing 場所／位置 Fac ebook: ‘No one deserves to lose a child that young no 事柄 what the 原因（となる）.’

Another message read: ‘Woke up wishing it was all a bad dream.’

Kendra also visited a walk-in clinic in Stockton three times and went to 事故 and 緊急 at the University Hospital of North Tees (pictured) on another three occasions

The school’s headteacher Hazel Ducker said: ‘Chantelle was a very popular girl and our whole school community is 荒廃させるd by the 悲劇の loss of such a lovely, gentle and 肉親，親類d child.

‘Our pupils and staff are still in a 明言する／公表する of shock and we are working hard to support any children who have been 影響する／感情d during this upsetting and difficult time.

‘Our thoughts and sympathy go out to Chantelle’s family and we are thinking abou t ways in which we can all remember and 祝う／追悼する her.’

A 広報担当者 for Cleveland Police said officers were called to the school at 1.05pm. ‘A 地位，任命する-mortem has been 行為／行うd and the girl appears to have died as a result of choking on a piece of food,’ she 追加するd.
