Keith Olbermann kept a low profile on his return to television 審査するs this 週末.

The left-wing firebrand was uncharacteristically reserved, mostly talking only when 演説(する)/住所d 直接/まっすぐに by host George Stephanoulos.

However, at one point he couldn't resist getting in a 二塁打 dig at both businessmen and the 共和国の/共和党の party.

塀で囲む Street 定期刊行物 columnist Peggy Noonan had 示唆するd that Mitch Daniels or 略奪する Portman might be good running mates for Mitt Romney because of their 商売/仕事 past.

Mr Olbermann interjected: 'Do you really want a second 実業家 on that ticket, though, in light of the... very large 見解(をとる) 権利 now that 商売/仕事 has never been 見解(をとる)d いっそう少なく favourably in this country since they ran Jay Gould out of town?'

He also criticised the マスコミ for the 最近の flap over Barack Obama's admission that he ate dog meat as a child in Indonesia.

'It raises the level of absurdity to something exponential,' he said.

'With so many 価値のある questions going on, we're wasting most of the time 取引,協定ing with the dogs.'

Unsurprisingly, Mr Olbermann 非難するd the canine スキャンダル on the 共和国の/共和党のs, who he said had a habit of combatting 論争 by turning the 問題/発行する 一連の会議、交渉/完成する on the 民主党員s.

But he also had time for a joke, telling fellow guest Donna Brazile when she said she knew people who cooked dog meat: 'If you've ever bought anything on the streets of New York, the 半端物s are pretty good, too.'
