Police are 追跡（する）ing vandals who ripped 負かす／撃墜する a sapling tree 祝う／追悼するing fallen British 兵士s - so they could use its 支店s to play 'fetch' with their Pitbull terrier.
The 凶漢s, who appeared to be drunk, were walking the animal at 8am on July 21 when they pulled up the one-year-old Dove tree from a flower bed before 涙／ほころびing it apart and throwing it around.

The vandals ran off when police arrived on the scene.
A park workman said: 'They’d 明白に taken something because we understand they appeared to be very drunk.
