Their daughter, Megan Duskey, was one of 2,000 guests at the Palmer House Hilton's Haunted Hotel Ball celebrating the festivities with her girlfriends.

‘I couldn’t even understand what they were 説,’ she told the Chicago Tribune.

‘Then someone said Megan fell.’

Shocked party-goers tried unsuccessfully to reach the fallen woman.
