Nearly seventeen years ago, former NFL 星／主役にする and actor O.J. Simpson was shockingly acquitted of 殺人ing his ex-wife and her friend.

But now a 検察官 at the centre of the 事例／患者 has 申し立てられた／疑わしい that Simpson’s lead defence lawyer tampered with a 決定的な piece of 証拠 ? one of the 悪名高い gloves that 検察官，検事s said linked Simpson to the grisly 二塁打-殺人 of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

Former Los Angeles 副 検察官 Christopher Darden on Thursday （刑事）被告 Simpson defence lawyer, the late Johnnie Cochran, of 'manipulating' the glove, Reuters 報告（する）／憶測d.

On Thursday, during a パネル盤 discussion about the 裁判，公判 at Pace 法律 School in New York City, Darden, a member of the 起訴 team, 宣言するd: 'I think Johnnie tore the lining.

'There were some 付加 涙／ほころびs in the lining so that O.J.'s fingers couldn't go all the way up into the glove.'

Darden said in a follow-up interview on Friday that he noticed that when Simpson was trying on a glove for the 陪審／陪審員団 its structure appeared to have changed.

'A （強制）執行官 told me the defence had it during the lunch hour.' He said he wasn't 特に 告発する／非難するing anyone, 追加するing: 'It's been my 疑惑 for a long time that the lining has been manipulated.'

Cochran died in 2005 from a brain tumour at age 67.
