The 政府 will not be deterred from going ahead with the High 速度(を上げる） 2 rail line by the 'grief and hassle' it is getting from backbenchers, the 輸送（する） 長官 said today.

Patrick McLoughlin said he ーするつもりであるs to 急速な／放蕩な-跡をつける the line, which will 最初 connect London and Birmingham and is later planned to be 延長するd to Manchester and 物陰／風下d.

And he said he hoped to work with 労働 to get cross-party 合意 on 法律制定 to be 含むd in the next Queen's Speech and taken through 議会 before the 2015 総選挙.

Patrick McLoughlin was born in 1957 in Stafford, the son and grandson of coal 鉱夫s.

Unlike many of his peers in the Tory party, he was educated at a 包括的な - 枢機けい／主要な Griffin Roman カトリック教徒 School in Cannock, Staffordshire - leaving at 16. He later went on to Staffordshire College of 農業 at Rodbaston College.
