A solid chalice made from a gold 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 given to Queen Victoria at her 載冠(式)/即位(式) has been discovered.

The chalice made for London 市長 David Evans in 1891 from the 24-carat gold 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 現在のd to the 19-year-old Queen is said to be 価値(がある) £30,000.

Queen Victoria was given the gold 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 as part of the 儀式 of her 載冠(式)/即位(式) in 1838 before it was melted 負かす/撃墜する and transformed into the 10in-high cup.

An inscription on one 味方する reads: ‘This cup was made from the 鋳塊 of gold 申し込む/申し出d at the altar by Queen Victoria on her 載冠(式)/即位(式) in Westminster Abbey.’

It is not known what happened to the chalice after it was made for the 市長 but it was bought at auction several years ago by its 現在の owner.

The owner, an 無名の woman from Norfolk, paid £6,000 for it and although the inflated price of gold today would mean it was 価値(がある) £10,000 if it was melted 負かす/撃墜する, the 協会 with Queen Victoria has raised its value to £30,000.

‘This cup was made out of that 封鎖する of gold.’

The cup has a beautiful decoration on the 底(に届く) which 含むs the thistle, rose and shamrock to 代表する the 国家の emblems of Scotland, England and Ireland.
