Thousands of you sent in your 抗議するs against A&E 終結s ? and this week we 配達するd two bulging mailbags 十分な of your 需要・要求するs to David Cameron's doorstep.

Nearly 30,000 Mail on Sunday readers have called for the 政府 to 逆転する the 政策 of downgrading and axeing 地元の 死傷者 departments across England and むちの跡s.

A total of 28,619 抗議するs were 宿泊するd ? 17,170 coupons, 7,377 emails and 4,072 text messages ? all 誘発するd by 恐れるs that the 政策 for big, centralised A&E departments could 危険 lives as it leads to longer 旅行 times to hospital.

As your 抗議するs reached 負かす／撃墜するing Street, it 現れるd that:

• London 救急車 Service is already 支払う／賃金ing more than £3?million a year to 私的な 救急車 会社／堅いs because it cannot 対処する with 需要・要求する ? a problem that will only get worse as 旅行 times 増加する to more distant A&Es.
• A 調査する 明らかにする／漏らすd that only four per cent of GPs in one area 支援するd the 終結 of their 地元の 死傷者 部隊, as favoured by the NHS.
• Changes in London could result in a 大規模な 47 per 増加する in the number of people served by each A&E department.
  

A London 救急車 spokeswoman last night 確認するd that the hard-圧力（をかける）d service is 現在／一般に spending £60,000 each 週末 on the 私的な 会社／堅いs, 加える 明示していない その上の sums at what she 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語d 'busy periods'.

Yet under the 終結 計画（する）s, London is 始める，決める to lose no fewe r than seven 死傷者 departments (one has already been lost). This will hugely 増加する the 重荷（を負わせる） on the 救急車 service.

At just one of the hospitals where A&E is 予定 to の近くに, Ealing, there is already an 緊急の care centre which 移転s up to 50 患者s a day to 死傷者.

現在／一般に, this is a short 旅行 負かす／撃墜する a 回廊（地帯）, but if 死傷者 の近くにs, as planned, all the 患者s will have to be transferred by blue-light 救急車 to an A&E somewhere else, probably West Middlesex 20 minutes away, or Northwick Park, 45 minutes away.

'There is a 限界 to what paramedics can do'

The 救急車 service spokeswoman said that it hoped to be able to 新採用する new staff, and would discuss how to 基金 the extra 需要・要求するs A&E 終結s would create once a final 決定／判定勝ち（する） on the 削減（する）s had been made.

Yet the 救急車 service is 直面するing 法外な 削減（する）s itself, with a 必要物／必要条件 to 削除する £53?million ? or 19 per cent ? of its 予算 by 2015/16, which will 含む the loss of 560 前線-line staff.

The 圧力 on paramedics is not 限定するd to London. Alan Bush, who has recently retired after 35 years as a paramedic in Newark, Notts, where the A&E の近くにd 早期に last year, said: 'The 終結 meant we had to 運動 much その上の, and often you wouldn't know which hospital you were supposed to take a 患者 to.

'There is a 限界 to what paramedics? can do. Travelling その上の means you have to 供給する more 治療 to try to keep a 患者 stable. On the other 手渡す, you can't do much when you're hurtling along at 70mph.'

On 普通の／平均（する）, it now takes 緊急 患者s from Newark almost two hours after a 999 call to be 手渡すd over to an A&E department.

New 分析 shows that if the 32 A&E departments which 存在するd in 2010 are 削減（する） to 24 across the 資本／首都, the number of people in the 普通の／平均（する） catchment area will 急に上がる from 255,000 to 375,000 in 2020, once 予測（する） 全住民 増加するs are taken into account.

労働's City Hall health 広報担当者, Murad Qureshi, who 収集するd the 分析, said: 'Londoners 直面する 存在 caught in a pincer of far より小数の A&Es and a thinly stretched 救急車 service. It is truly shocking that the 政府 has left the NHS in such a mess.'

But an NHS London 広報担当者 said: 'Any changes to NHS services will be led by clinicians, and 地元の people will be fully 協議するd. Clinicians would not recommend change unless it 改善するs 患者 care.

'Hundreds of lives have already been saved by 扱う／治療するing life 脅すing 傷害s in より小数の specialist centres and 専門家 一打／打撃 部隊s.'

The A&E 終結 in one area where the department is under 脅し, によれば an 公式の／役人 po ll.
選挙運動者s say the result 土台を崩すs the 地元の NHS 長，指導者s' （人命などを）奪う，主張する that their 計画（する） is supported by clinicians ? an 主張 repeated last month in newspaper 宣伝s designed to 納得させる 患者s that 終結 would be a good idea.

They were placed by NHS North West London, where four out of nine 存在するing 死傷者 departments are 始める，決める to の近くに, 含むing the one at Ealing Hospital.

A public '協議' on this 計画（する） ended last week, with a 決定／判定勝ち（する） 推定する／予想するd 早期に next year.

But new 人物／姿／数字s from an 公式の／役人 投票 of GPs carried out as part of the 協議 公表する／暴露する that in Ealing only four per cent of the doctors ? or one in 25 ? supported '選択 A', the choice 存在 支援するd by NHS bosses which 伴う／関わるs the 終結 of the 地元の A&E.

He said the GP 調査する was 'all part of listening to 関心s raised during 協議, and we are now analysing the thousands of 返答s we have had to see how we should develop our 推薦s'.

The doctors' 対立 has been 株d by Ealing 会議 which has called on the 政府 to 捨てる the 'half-baked' 計画（する）s to downgrade 地元の hospital services.

The 労働-run 会議's 閣僚 held a special 会合 to discuss a 報告（する）／憶測 from former NHS (n)役員／(a)執行力のある Tim Rideout, which raised serious 関心s about the 終結s and 解任するd the 商売／仕事 事例／患者 from health bosses as fundamentally 欠陥d.

The 会議 has also joined 当局 from across West London to 配達する 60,000 署名s in 抗議する to NHS North West London （警察，軍隊などの）本部.

議員 Jasbir Anand, Ealing leader for health and adult services, said: 'We won't 賭事 with our health or be bystanders as our hospital services are 取り去る／解体するd.'
