Ten million beefburgers are 存在 解任するd in the スキャンダル over horse meat 汚染, it 現れるd yesterday.

As revulsion over the 問題／発行する grew, more supermarkets and 急速な／放蕩な food chain Burger King were drawn into the 列／漕ぐ／騒動.

Sainsbury’s, Asda and the Co-op have decided to 除去する thousands of packs of frozen burgers as a 予防の 手段.

The 会社／堅いs 行為／法令／行動するd because the 製品s were made by an Irish food 巨大（な） which is known to have been 供給（する）ing burgers 汚染するd with horse meat.

Speaking at 総理大臣’s Question Time, David Cameron, said: ‘People in our country will have been very 関心d to read this morning that when they thought they were buying beefburgers they were buying something with horse meat in it. This is a 完全に 容認できない 明言する／公表する of 事件／事情／状勢s.’

He w arned the 蓄える／店s 伴う／関わるd, 説: ‘最終的に retailers have to be 責任がある what it is they sell and where it comes from.’

The 警報 was first raised by Irish food 監視者s earlier this week after horse デオキシリボ核酸 was 設立する in burgers sold through Tesco, アイスランド, Aldi, Lidl and Dunnes in Ireland.

The 実験（する）s were carried out in November but the results were not 解放（する）d until they had been checked by 専門家s in Germany. It is likely that many thousands of the burgers 汚染するd with horse meat have been eaten by families.

調査s are focussing on the 役割 of Irish food company, ABP, which is run by 議論の的になる entrepreneur Larry Goodman.

ABP owns Silvercrest Foods, which 供給（する）d burgers 含む／封じ込めるing horse meat to Tesco and Aldi. It also makes cheap burgers for Asda, Co-op and Burger King.

ABP also owns Dalepak, which is based in North Yorkshire and made 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う burgers for アイスランド. It also produces 13 lines f or Sainsbury’s.

Yesterday, ABP pointed the finger at a mystery 成分 used in the burgers ? thought to be a protein 砕く ? 供給（する）d by two foreign 会社／堅いs, one in the Netherlands and another in Spain.

The 砕く ? used to 本体，大部分／ばら積みの up cheap burgers ? is supposed to be created from （判決などを）下すd 負かす／撃墜する carcasses of beef animals.

The episode 解除するs the lid on some of the more distasteful elements and 成分s used to produce cheap food for families on a 予算.

Professor Chris Elliott, director of the 学校／設ける for 全世界の Food 安全 at Queen’s University, Belfast said: ‘What goes into a burger is all the low 質 削減（する）s of meat that can’t be sold in any other form. They are at the 底（に届く） of the chain.’

Tesco had no idea about the 汚染 and has apologised. Its group technical director, Tim Smith, said: ‘Our 顧客s have the 権利 to 推定する／予想する that food they buy is produced to the highest 基準s.’

Asda, Sainsbury’s and the Co-op all 主張するd there was no 証拠 their burgers 含む／封じ込める horse meat. However, they decided to 身を引く them because they come from 会社／堅いs? which are known to have had this problem.

Burger King said it has been given ‘絶対の 保証／確信’ by ABP and Silvercrest that 非，不，無 of it s burgers were 影響する／感情d. It said its burgers are produced with clean 成分s on a separate 生産／産物 line.

As a result, 8,118 horses and ponies were 虐殺（する）d in Britain in 2011, to be sent to the continent to be sold as gourmet meat.

Nothing is wasted, with their 肌s going into the leather 貿易（する）, while any off-削減（する）s will be used as dog food.

Most will be former pets their owners cannot care for or riding school 開始するs that can no longer 支払う／賃金 their way because they are too old to work.

But によれば Ben ツバメ, a 選挙運動者 with charity Animal 援助（する）, in 2011 ‘1,127 were thoroughbreds discarded by the racing 産業’, which ‘overproduces horses each year’.

The number of British horses ending their days in the slaughterhouse has 二塁打d since 2008, a little-known consequence of the 後退，不況. Mr ツバメ said around 10,000 horses and ponies are now believed to be 虐殺（する）d in Britain each year.

Permitted methods of 虐殺（する） 含む 狙撃 with a 弾丸, or 素晴らしい with a penetrative bolt followed by 即座の bleeding.

There are two major abattoirs that take horses in Britain, but they are not keen on publicising it.

Several thousand live horses are believed to be sent to the continent for 虐殺（する）. 顧客s in フラン, Belgium and Italy like horse meat. Small 量s are also eaten in Spain, Portugal, Holland and Romania.

A 広報担当者 for the Food 基準s 機関 said almost all British horse meat is 輸出（する）d. ‘It is 合法的な to 虐殺（する） and sell horse meat in the UK, 供給するd it is from an 認可するd abattoir and the meat must carry the stamp 宣言するing it is fit for human 消費,’ he 追加するd.
