大統領 Obama hosts Irish 総理大臣 Kenny in Washington for lunch and Guinness beer

Shamrock in his jacket pocket, Obama hosted Irish 総理大臣 Enda Kenny for a 会合 in the Oval Office on Tuesday ― two days after the 公式の／役人 holiday, which fell on a Sunday this year.

'It also gives us an excuse to stretch out St. Patrick's Day for a couple of extra days,' he said.

Kenny said that Obama had signaled his 意図 to make another visit to Ireland, although it was 不明瞭な when that would be. Kenny said Obama's schedule might 妨げる him from stopping there as part of his trip to the 近づいている G8 会合 of 主要な 産業の nations, which is scheduled for June in Northern Ireland.
