The Foreign Office are used to 取引，協定ing with Brits abroad who have lost their パスポートs or 苦しむd a serious 傷害 while abroad.

But they also had a bizarre 範囲 of requests from 国民s - 含むing one holidaymaker in Rome who asked staff to translate a phrase he 手配中の，お尋ね者 for a tattoo.

The Foreign and 連邦／共和国 Office dealt with more than one million enquiries last year and helped 52,135 British 国家のs in difficulties abroad.

One holidaymaker in Montreal, Canada, asked for 公式の／役人 advice on the colour of the British パスポート to settle a £1,000 wager.

Staff around the world have been asked questions about the best place to watch football matches 支援する home.

'We also receive over a million enquiries each year, so it is important that people understand what we can and cannot do to support them when they are abroad.

'We are not in a position to help people make travel 手はず／準備 or social 計画（する）s, but we do help those who 直面する real problems abroad.
