Matt Dyer is 回復するing in a Montreal hospital after 存在 mauled by a polar 耐える

A man from Turner, Maine is 回復するing in a Montreal hospital after 存在 attacked by a polar 耐える while （軍の）野営地，陣営ing in a Newfoundland 国家の park.

Matt Dyer was part of a seven-man group on a guided 小旅行する of Torngat 国家の Park on the northern tip of Newfoundland when the attack happened.

The area is 井戸／弁護士席 known for polar 耐えるs and 訪問者s sleeping in the park are equipped with an electric 盗品故買者 which is supposed to shock the animals if they touch it.

Dyer’s group was sleeping behind their 保護の 盗品故買者 when the 選び出す／独身 polar 耐える attacked them at about 1:30am on Wednesday morning.

The 耐える dragged Dyer from his テント and was mauling him when his friends 解雇する／砲火／射撃d ゆらめくs to 脅す the 耐える which dropped him and ran off.

It then took several hours for the group to could 接触する the 王室の Canadian 機動力のある Police.

A ヘリコプター 駅／配置するd at Saglek Fjord, about an hour flight away, was sent to the area and then took Dyer to a 外傷／ショック clinic in Quebec.

He was later transferred to Montreal General Hospital, where he is 回復するing from bite 負傷させるs and broken bones. He 条件 is 述べるd as stable.

Dyer's wife Jeanne 井戸／弁護士席s was 知らせるd of the attack on Wednesday afternoon and flew to Montreal.

‘The Canadians did an amazing 職業 of getting him 輸送（する）d. There was a doctor in the group who took care of him 権利 from the start,' she told the Bangor Daily News.

'He is in very stable 条件. He will make a 十分な 回復 and that is a testament to his strength.'
