The 24-year-old was in a 支店 of the burger 巨大（な） in Yangzhou in eastern 中国 when a Mercedes ploughed into it.

He said: ‘The care I had was excellent. They said I might have problems when I am older, but the 操作／手術s seem to have gone okay.

‘There was never too much worry about me 存在 able to walk again. I took the 見解（をとる） the 事故 had happened so there was not much I could do and there was no use moping around.’
Simon said: ‘I had lots of support from friends in 中国. My mum and sister 手配中の，お尋ね者 to come out to see me straight away but I thought it was better for them to wait until I got out of hospital.
‘When I got out it was fantastic to see them. I did not want to leave 中国. I did not want the experience to blight the 広大な／多数の／重要な time I had there. I was only going to leave on my 条件.’
The drink-driver was locked up for three months after admitting the offence, which was 述べるd as ‘stupid and negligent but not 審議する／熟考する’.
