Who needs Instagram? Photographer steps 支援する in time as she 逮捕(する)s modern-day surfers using Civil War-時代 tintype camera
These photographs may look like something you'd find in an old family scrapbook, but the surfers pictured are alive and 井戸/弁護士席 and probably out on the water as we speak.
They were 逮捕(する)d on beaches all over the the U.S. and Australia for photographer Joni Sternbach's on-going series 'SurfLand'.
To create the images, Ms Sternbach uses a large-判型 camera which produces tintypes - a style of photography popularized during the Civil War-時代.

The photos have a distinctly vintage vibe but Ms Sternbach says she wasn't 利益/興味d in recreating turn-of-the century pictures.
I was more 利益/興味d in creating a new topic of conversation about how can we use the 構成要素s and (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) from the history of photography to make new and wonderful images that we 港/避難所't seen before,' she told 予定する.
Ms Sternbach first started the series 支援する in
