A 素晴らしい collection of photographs of World War One 戦場s as they are today are to go on show in Britain for the first time.

A hundred years on, with no one alive to remember the 'war to end all wars', only the landscape 耐えるs 証言，証人／目撃する to the events that killed 21 million men women and children.

The Somme, Passchendaele, Ypres and Verdun and so many other 戦場s may be just 指名するs in history 調書をとる／予約するs today, but the 場所／位置s along the western 前線 have 回復するd their former tranquility and peace.

Memory of war: The シャンペン酒 戦場 burial 場所／位置 記念の left 損なわれていない on the Western 前線 with the 兵士's 器具／備品 left on the 墓／厳粛／彫る／重大な, along with a plaque placed there by his father in 1919

噴火口，クレーターs: An 空中の 見解（をとる） of the Newfoundland 記念の Park in Beaumont Hamel, Northern フラン, with its 爆撃する 噴火口，クレーターs and ざん壕s

戦場: A major 連合した 不快な／攻撃 took place in 1916 at Messines 山の尾根 on the southern end of the Ypres Salient with over 8,000 metres of tunnels dug and 21 地雷s 含む／封じ込めるing almost 600 tonnes of 爆発性のs laid under the German lines

A father's 尊敬の印 to his dead son is illustrated by the young man's helmet and 器具／備品 adorning his graveside with a plaque at the シャンペン酒 戦う／戦い 場所／位置.

Fifteen haunting images taken by World 圧力（をかける） Photo award-winning photographer マイク St Maur Shiel go on show next month between November 5 and 14th in a street gallery 展示 - Fields of 戦う／戦い Lands of Peace 14 ? 18 - at Westminster Hall after 存在 given 許可 by the 黒人／ボイコット 棒.

The freestanding photographs, each 手段ing 1.2 metres (4ft) by 1.8 metres (5ft 10in), are the result of a six-year 事業／計画（する） and 明らかにする／漏らす the 変形 of the 戦場s of the 1914-18 war into the landscape of modern Europe.

In August 2014, the 展示 opens in London with 60 images in central London before 小旅行するing across the UK and Ireland's major cities during the centenary until 2018 based on a timeline of World War One events.

St Maur Sheil said: 'This collection 代表するs a 遺産／遺物 which I hope will create a gateway to the 戦場s themselves, encouraging people to visit these historic landscapes during the centennial period and so create 認識／意識性 and understanding of the events.'

St Maur Sheil who won his award in 2002 for his work on child trafficking in West Africa, began taking the 戦う／戦い field pictures after visiting Dunkirk with his father who served there in 1940 with the London Irish ライフル銃／探して盗むs.

'Oddly enough he featured in what has become one of the iconic images of that 戦う／戦い but what （機の）カム as a 完全にする surprise to me was the 驚くべき／特命の／臨時の memory he had for what appeared to me to be feature-いっそう少なく fields, ' he said.

'We visited Ypres and I watched him as he stood 築く at the Menin Gate, fighting b ack his 涙／ほころびs: it was an emotion I had never been exposed to before.

'The men of 1914-18 大部分は saw the land torn apart and stripped of its covering mantle of grass and trees, it's bones literally laid 明らかにする as they sought 避難所 within its 保護の 肌.'

His images of the former 戦う／戦い fields 延長する over 600 kilometres from the coast of the English Channel, across Belgium and northern and eastern フラン as far as the スイスの 国境.
